Greatist band of the 80s. Lots of energy and great song writing. Strummer and Jones had the same yin/yang partnership as Jagger/Richards or Lennon/McCartney.Strummer more the rebel and political, and Jones with a pop sense.I caught them in 1983 at the US Festaval in California which may have been the last performance they gave as the original band.Not sure.Caught them again with Strummer leading

Yeah yeah yeah.... I started out as a Beatles fan. It wasn't until I was 7 and heard Satisfaction on the radio that I became a die hard Stones fan. Never regreted it. My band continued to rock and stayed together right to this day. Good choice I'd say.

I would like it if re-releasing old material really would mean something. Sure they clean things up with digital equipment, but it"s still some thing that we have heard before. Repackaging should give us something new or diferent. I would buy a CD of alternate versions on live material before one that has anyones "hand-picked" songs.

This was a great opener for the 1981 tour. That driving bassline jumping right out at the beginning gives plenty of room Keith and Ronnies guitars.It's more a guys song but Mick wins over the girls at the end with the sensual groaning.

I used to shoot a lot of concerts back in the 80's for the Shepard Express in Milwaukee. If I didn't get a photo pass I taped the camera body to one calf and the lense on the other. This worked every time for me, but the was before metal detectors.
