When you see fans standing and singing along to Worried About You or All Down the Line or any other non-warhorse... and seeing all the other Hot Rocks fans sitting down and staring blindly and befuddled. Then watching those same Hot Rocks fans go crazy for Satisfaction and screaming "oh my god! I can't believe they are playing it" it just makes me smile that I can see throug

Pure rock n roll. Love the opening riffs... doesn't sound very complicated... just a very pleasing sound.

keefriff, I just want to take a moment to distinguish myself from the category of "bitter stones fan." I congratulate U2 on the win. I have seem them live many times and think they are just outstanding. They do the bare bones 4 man band deal better than anyone else out there. I also love the album prior to the latest. And I'll also say that they do a pretty decent job of m

indeed, Wuudy, I agree that most people would say Mick and Bono lead their respective bands. The perception is that the front man is the leader... he's the most vocal as he is the vocalist. However, both front men have come dangerously close to pissing off their bandmates with their antics... specifically Bono as of late. Bottom line is that U2 is trying to carry the torch ignited by

U2 wins... great... whatever. I'll admit that I listen to U2... a band that formerly was a Stones and Beatles cover band. When you're put in a category with one of your heroes (the stones), I think it would've been proper to at least acknowledge them. Bono has gotten so far up his ass there's no way he's finding his way out. Ever hear the question "who is

I just saw a commercial for Slim Fast with some awful woman singing "time is on my side" I don't know what made me want to hurl more - the fat ladies dancing around with the slim fast can or the horrific singer butchering a great song.

stage was awesome. but I doubt they'd ever do it for a concert. You'd hear U2 and whomever else has done some of stage that reaches out in to the crowd say that the Stones "followed." but I still think they should do it... with a small catwalk at the tip of the tongue leading to the bstage (but I imagine that would only really work in stadiums)

I agree with the Rev... I was in the rafters too and not only was my section rocking, looking out over the crowd I saw the place going nuts... not the whole show, but sometimes when you hear an amazing tune like ATGB, you just wanna sit and listen to every note.... BUT THAT WASN'T MSG LAST NIGHT

If you can get one of the first few rows in the 400s, the sounds is fine. I sat about 7 or 8 rows back in 400s during Licks and had to sit down for most of it to hear clearly (the difference b/w standing and sitting was like night and day). There's an overhang that sort of muffles the music if you're too high in 400s.

Greatest show I've seen... I wrote a brief review (Cole - NYC) And to think I almost didn't make it to the show. I could've gone home after the first 10 songs on a high... but the second half was really tight with the warhorses!!
