My only experience of LD tickets on the current tour, so far, is from London #2 Walking up to the LD portakabins at approx. 16.45, as the band were sound checking 'Dead Flowers', I was directed to the separate cabin window for LD Singles, where I was asked for Credit Card authorisation & booking confirmation but when I volunteered photo ID I was told it wasn't necessary.

very much looking forward to this evening's show. First one in 5 years. Also intrigued to see Florence. Last saw her 4-5 years ago on the undercard at a festival. It'll be interesting to see her bands progression since the early days. Where are folk heading for a pre-show beer? The Cow, Westfield, or somewhere else?

well done to Mr Sheeran & his management. The final straw for him was the scandalous secondary market that sprung up for his RAH Teenage Cancer Trust show last year. Sickening.

Quotenobodyimportant If London gigs finish at 2230, I have a reasonable chance of catching the last train home. If they finished later, I might not be able to afford to go to many as I would need to pay for accommodation. As it is, I can't go to gigs in various places that are only 50 to 80 miles away because the last trains are too early. There must be lots of people in a similar p

QuoteRonnierocks They also do this for most shows at a The 02 Arena. Perhaps it's someone's job at London Underground. it's a London Transport thing that started in the wake of the 7/7 terrorist atrocities on the network.

Above average effort at this oft-attempted charade. Finding it difficult to disagree with most of what's written. Worth 10 minutes of your reading time, unlike the usual dross these lists throw up.

QuoteCaptain Jack Sparrow The cabbage patch is a dump but great if you like 5 deep at the bar and plastic glasses. Richmond on the other hand has more pubs per sq mile than almost anywhere in the uk. Hiding down back alleys and such. Go explore. Also the stones started there, at the crawdaddy opposite the station, no longer a pub as such amen to that

Windsor & Hampton Court are short train journeys from central London & are worth the effort. Windsor especially. A tour of the castle should be an essential 'to do' for any visitor.

Inevitably The Cabbage Patch will be the venue of choice. But it's far from being the best pub in Twickenham. The Eel Pie and The Fox (both down Church Street) are better pubs, but it won't make any difference what I or others recommend, everyone will go for the lazy choice. Also, as an aside, do check out the Eel Pie Island Museum (not on the island, but a stones (ahem...) thr

another reason, imo, for sluggish ticket sales across the UK leg is too many midweek shows. I guarantee you that if London#1 & Twickenham were scheduled at a weekend these would have sold out by now. Midweek shows in the capital just do not hold the same appeal.
