Until i see Keith's head ,next summer in Europe, for myself, i can't pass judgement on whether he's follically-challenged, or not. As long as he doesn't wear an Elton-style rug or a stupid Edge-style Beanie, i don't really care. Bandanas/headbands seem to suit him quite well.

You're in for a treat Bob. They're in blistering form- a band at the peak of their powers. Highlights, are a stunning version of Son House's "Death Letter", and when Jack switches to piano, for "My Doorbell". I hope you get them both , at Manchester, Bob... but when a band doesn't have a setlist and relies on spontaneity, who knows?

I saw them on Saturday 5th at Hammersmith Apollo. It was one of the best gigs i've been to in a long ,long time. It was the first night of the U.K tour- Jack was in a great mood, and he was in unbelievably, fine form. Saw them again on Wed 9th, at Ally Pally. Again a fantastic concert- but a goddam awful venue,. which somewhat took the shine off it. In my opinion it's the wor

thanks Gazza and Reptile, for the t-shirt sites. Might have to get a "Make Coldplay History" as well! Sick to death of Chris Martin, whining on, in his songs, about trees and seas.

saw a bloke wearing a fantastic t-shirt , the other day. From a distance, i thought it had a "Make Poverty History" slogan, on it, but on closer inspection, it was actually "Make Bono History". classic..i want one of those.

As Gazza has correctly stated, it's not important. It's easy to list-off, all the "landmark", supposed-seminal gigs, in the last 30-40 years. But unless you actually attended all of these gigs, then its not credible, is it? You may as well, say you saw Robert Johnson's first ever performance, or you were there when Elvis and The Beatles jammed together ,at Graceland.

Avoid radio whenever possible, but whenever i do get to hear it, you can bet your life, it'll be "Angels" by Robbie Williams, or some other rubbish IKEA music, such as the latest Dido track. Madonna, Kylie, are also the source of constant irritation.... but nothing beats the grating, infuriating, disease-like wailing, of James Blunt's "You're Beautiful"...

Jack White in NME this week:- "I'm really looking forward to playing in England. Audiences in America display absolutely no energy during shows at all. Now i'm of the opinion that when you go to a rock n' roll show, you are not going to the movies. You paid your two bits and you deserve something but it doesnt mean that you're allowed to just stand there and not part
