>the album cover reminds me of luna's penthouse! Good catch: both photos were taken by the same photographer, Ted Croner. The Dylan cover photo was taken in 1947. From his obit (he just died last year): Some of his most famous images captured New York at night. For "Central Park South," dated 1947-48, Croner shot the skyline with streaks of light forming the shapes o

>And Dylan was close in 96, A common misconception but in fact TIME OUT OF MIND was completed before Dylan's health scare. >and same goes for Eno in 75. And he made that album I mentioned, without writing anything before going to the studio. The album you're describing here is DISCREET MUSIC, not ANOTHER GREEN WORLD.

They sound fine; I don't believe they are "remasters". I wonder if whoever chose that title for the series was aware that L'AGE D'OR is an infamous Surrealist film by Luis Bunuel & Salvador Dali.

He might have been wearing a tutu. There's a video shot in San Francisco from around that same time (Nov. 25, '81) in which he's wearing one. The setlist is probably similar to what he played opening for the Stones as they were both part of the same tour. The setlist that night: Some Weird Sin Houston Is Hot Tonight T.V. Eye 1969 Rock And Roll Party Bang Bang Dum Dum Bo

Thanks for the photo, Nico. There's also a cool photo of Mick, John, Yoko & Sean at the circus. J&Y are looking up (at a trapeze artist probably), but Sean is turned around in his seat looking at Mick, who is smiling at Sean.

Mick played guitar on Yoko's '72 album APPROXIMATELY INFINITE UNIVERSE. There's a photo of Mick, John & Yoko sitting at the piano at that session.

Do they have some issue with the promoter in New Orleans? I can't imagine why they haven't played there in 12 years, considering what huge crowds they've played for there in the past.

Nice list but it omits BRIDGES TO BABYLON and WANDERING SPIRIT. I'm also fairly certain he did not play on BLOOD ON THE TRACKS; I think he's being confused with bass played Billy Peterson.

From perhaps my favorite song he played on: Angels beating all their wings in time Smiles on their faces & a tear right in their eyes Thought I heard one sigh for you Come on up now, come on up now, come on up now... May the good Lord shine a light on you, Make every song you sing your favorite tune. May the good Lord shine a light on you, Warm like the evening sun
