If you only get one, Rocks is their best. They are still incredible live. They put on a hell of a show in London two nights ago. I could not believe how great they were. I even enjoyed Don't want to miss a thing. I guess it's their "Streets of love"!

Quoteandy js Thank you, it is of course MY opinion and not one that HAS to be shared by everyone else But i still can't understand why they'd play it To me it'd be like AC/DC suddenly adding say 'Money Talks' or some other awful shite to their next setlist for no apparent reason Moneytalks is a classic

Bloody Hell! Stevie looks match fit. I hope Angus will be too! but that is a terrible photo. Now, where's Phil? I am actually remarkably excited about this. I could never imagine them continuing without Mal, but he ain't finished yet, and will be the biggest critic of whatever they do. two weeks ago I thought my favourite band was finished, now at least we get the last go round on the r

the dead ringer album is a classic. If he had done bad for good that would have been 3 classics. Not fussed about his latter day output.

I don't think it is touts buying for re-sale. I think the demand was from genuine fans. there was always going to be overwhelming demand from right across the world for these tickets. I feel blessed to be going, so I will stop bitching about being near the back of the circle

Got my tix in the pre-sale. Delighted. Still can't believe it. Only slight downer is that they are not exactly the best seats in the house. V75 in the circle. I would be interested to know what Hammersmith is like as a venue. Is near the back of the circle and off to the side terrible, or will I still get an ok view?

true. I couldn't believe the poster somewhere who seriously suggested the band may now play Love in Vain with a wailing Mick T solo as some sort of tribute. I just think they will be a wee bit selective in the song choices in any shows. I can't see Mick pouring his heart out, tho a ballad is always inevitable in a stones gig. It's weird..but everything takes on a new resonance. I t

andrewt is the new Stones lyricist! just kidding with you. it's hard to imagine them doing these songs again. But I asked my wife and my brother about this (they are both Stones fans but not hardcore), and they both laughed at my suggestion that they may never do these songs again. my gut feeling is they will finish the tour including Australia rescheduled, and will then retire ( which is wh

VIvian Campbell does NOT play on any Aerosmith music. Doom and Gloom, you are a bullshitter, peddling lies then backtracking and being all cool, making out it doesn't matter. well it matters to me as an Aerosmith fan since 82. enough now. Admit you were talking shite.

QuoteJames Kirk "One of the greatest American rock n roll bands of all time" Really? They are little more than cheesy 80's band (from a cheesy genre) that borders on parody. Sure, they sold a lot of records in their day, but so did MC Hammer. How could anyone take these lightweights and their hair band contemparies seriously? How did rock go from giants like The Rolling Ston

I never thought Tom waits was a put on. as I get older I do see the pastiche in some of the earlier work. I find his music to be cinematic in its scope and as deeply affecting as a great movie. so is he an actor? Possibly. but I think he puts his heart into what he does. and the words he sings are his own.

The thing that annoys me is why Bobby Keys was left off most of the latter day recordings. For example Rough Justice was crying out for a rip snorting sax solo, to push it over the edge. Why didn't they bother?

they survived because the girls love Mick, and the boys love Keith. so that's the market sewn up. Oh, the songs were pretty good too.

Steve Hackett, Neil Young and crazy Horse and Mott the Hoople were all fantastic. as were Y&T (a great but totally forgotten bluesy rock outfit). The best tho for me has to be Bob Dylan (3rd night in Glasgow). Just wonderful.

QuoteOzHeavyThrobber Keith this may well be wishful thinking but consider this: Sitting at a piano - ALL ALONE Keith - and playing/singing "Somewhere over the rainbow". I really believe if you concentrated for three and a half minutes on playing this and being the great musician you are and forget being "Keith Richards" rock star for this time you will have the crowd in
