AT FILLMORE EAST - THE ONE AND ONLY ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND!!! The Newest one - "One Way Out" isn't bad either - the version of Wasted Words smokes. I've got about 20 of the instant lives too from over the past three tours. Also great. Allman Brothers all the way . . But the Stones ain't bad either ;-)

Exactly! How many people have died so far? Like 80? out of how many billion people in the world. There's always a reason to be concerned, but the fear over this is very overrated.

I'm not a Polish fan, but rather a fan of Poland. Now that I live in Germany I try to visit as much as I can. Still remember my first time. Went from Berlin to Warsaw and everywhere in between. Gdansk, Lodz, Krakow, Lublin, Katowice, etc. A fantastic country with a fantastic (but sad) history and a very unique and individual personality. I actually thought of telling people bad things abo

Not a dumb question at all - the German term is "wichser," which is very similar. Well wanking and "whacking off" are pretty similar. I guess a @#$%& would be a "pud-whacker" as we said in high school. I know the Irish say "to get her up the duff" for "to knock someone up. Apparently it's changed to "to get her up the Damien" because

Sounds like they're kicking things off with Stones covers. Just heard the very fine version of the Allman Brothers Band's "Heart of Stones." Now a very horrible Nazereth doing "Ruby Tuesday."

I think it's kind of funny that, in promoting anti-Americanism in Europe, many Europeans are becoming exactly what they claim most Americans to be: loud, arrogant and intolerant @#$%&. It’s really sad that anti-Americanism has become a trend throughout the world. If you ask the average German equivalent to the American high-schooler about Rwanda, Srebrenica, Stalin, Darfur, etc., they’d s

Just for curiosity’s sake – why would playing the Superbowl be a privilage? I don’t see it as a right, but why a privilage? Wouldn’t playing at the Olympics be a privilage? Or perhaps the World Cup? An event where the whole world is participating and watching? The Superbowl is just another football game (and this year it was really nothing special). Like Debra said, young people wouldn’t have

Hi all - I've got a couple things to say/ask: First off, just let me say "thanks" to all the guys/gals who dare to record, master and make their Stones concerts available to us fans (at the moment I'm thinking of G. the Cock for new things lately on DAD and Rocks Off and Drake for his stellar recordings - especially from Columbus, the city I grew up and saw a lot of shows -

Hey! As a poor college kid looking for action and getting discount tickets just because you're paying tuition it's the only thing I had (but there were some really nice-looking gals at those games - WOW!). Only negative part of having graduated from OSU is the fact that George W. Bush did my commencement address. I can't even believe I admitted to that!!!! Anyways, I spent that

Going back to the discussion regarding hating the sport and the culture associated with it, my question would be, "how and what is the 'superbowl' or 'football' culture?" I've seen my share of Browns and Buckeyes games when I grew up and went to University on one side of the pond. But I've also seen my share of Kickers and Eintracht Frankfurt games si

Rodgau (belongs to Offenbach, but sounds better when you couple it with Frankfurt am Main), Germany. Was born in Atlanta and raised there half of my life - then went to Columbus, OH - After graduating University in 2002 at the tender age of 23 I came to Deutschland. Now I'm married, have a job and lead a normal life. Peace, Duane

Hey Open-G - just don't tell anybody that our very own Chuck L. is the one playing organ on the album version of "She Talks To Angels." (Hey, I'm an ABB fan - I like Chuck).

Hey Odd-Beat - you can't go wrong with the ABB album "Beginnings" - it's their first two albums repackaged on one and it's available on CD. And - as always - the greatest live album of all time - At Fillmore East. The version on Liz Reed on that is probably the finest display of musicianship ever. And to thing it was all live and all improvised.

You know, getting f-cked by the chicks in Antigone Rising doesn't sound like a bad idea to be honest with ya'll - all five of them, all at once. But at any rate they seem to be easy on the eyes (and not that bad on the ears either). I just wish they'd come to Europe and do some small headlining gigs - I'm think Batschkapp or maybe E-Werk. That'd be great. They open

Just found this on Pollstar: Stones Have Eclectic Taste In Openers Updated 13:05 PST Thu, Dec 15 2005 The Rolling Stones have invited an interesting mix of rock, country and funk acts to open their 2006 North American tour dates. Canadian rocker Anik Jean will kick off 2006 for the Stones at Bell Centre in Montreal on January 10. The Great White North's pop/rock hitmakers Sloan are

I know some of you consider it to be one of the lamer ballads the band has recorded, but I just finished downloading and converting one of the No Security Philly shows from DAD with Fool To Cry and, in all honesty, the song doesn't sound half bad live. Wonder why they don't play it more often . . . .

Just got mine for Frankfurt - 2x Stehplatz Innenraum (yeah it's not front-of-stage, but could be front-of-B-stage). Still debating on whether or not to go to Stuttgart as well - As Mick sang, however, what can a poor boy do? We'll see!

I'm getting the same thing, also from www.tickets-per-post.de. Kartenhaus doesn't even have them for sale yet. I'm going to kill one of my co-workers very soon if I don't get tix.

Hi Mack - I can't imagine the tickets will be much cheaper than two years ago. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices for the show in Warsaw, Poland. I've been trying to find info. on all of the Eastern European venues (Warsaw, Brno, Belgrade and Zagreb) and have not had much luck. At leaset www.ticketpro.pl has the Stones advertised on their page. I saw the Stones in 2003 in P

Wow - great to see the new dates for the Stones European tour have been announced. I saw the Stones on the Licks tour in Hockenheim, Germany and Prague, Czech Republic (I live just outside of Frankfurt - Rodgau, to be exact). The Stones are playing in Frankfurt this year (but even the cheap seats are pretty expensive). So, the wife and I were thinking of taking a little holiday to the east
