Quotelorno578 Bruce on tumbling Dice is awesome, I just wish The Stones would take more risks and stop playing it safe with the setlists. From here on out, it is a greatest hits show. Play some more rarities, if they played in album order, that would be pretty cool. They've already played two new songs, Who Do You Love, Going Down, The Last Time and Dead Flowers. Six rare songs in a 22 son

Quotemaradona Hm... I don't know but somehow I'm afraid there will be no Bruce Springsteen joining them tonight... This could be the reason for the surprise-act of Mayer and Clark jr. That would suck. Really looking forward to seeing them play together. Have they ever performed on the same stage together before?

I am 21.5 Mick Jaggers years old. A Mick Jagger is a unit of measurement in which each year only counts for six months. By this measurement, Mick Jagger is 34.5 Mick Jaggers years old. His hair, however, is 17.25 Mick Jaggers years old.

Great news about the Zeppelin reissues. I like Jeff Beck a lot too, mainly his '60s material with the Yardbirds and the Jeff Beck Group, then everything he has released since 1989's Guitar Shop. His '80s stuff (before Guitar Shop) is not all that great, and I don't care for the jazz fusion stuff from the '70s either. His cover of Superstition is pretty awesome.

even if he doesn't get paid, this raises his profile and will probably lead to more and better paying solo gigs

I'm Movin On always blows me away too. Or the whole of Sticky Fingers with MT. Great to have them back though. Looking forward to seeing tonights show on you tube. As long as they don't play much from 1973 to 201

I wish they would offically release an audio track of every single song they played on the A Bigger Bang Tour, that way those of us who want to hear obscure stuff could make our own warhorse-free mix and jam out to it whenever we want, lol

Quotehbwriter Quoteohnonotyouagain I don't know, the setlist seems pretty good to me. I always hope for a few more rare songs, but I realize most people in the audience wouldn't know those tunes even if the band played them. And at least they're playing 23 songs instead of the 20 or so they were down to at the end of the Bigger Bang tour. When you break downt the setlist, you kn

Quotechop That's awesome. Looks like Ronnie is bowing to his king or something I thought Keith would color his hair for this Weirdly enough, I think Keith almost looks better with the grey hair. With his well-lined face the black hair was a bit much. Somehow Jagger and Ronnie pull it off, but I don't think Keith was. I've never seen Wyman with grey hair before, though, that

QuoteUnderAssistantWCpromoMan QuoteRollingFreak The only thing thats been skipped completely is the Out Of Control slot. If there's one thing I love more than the Stones it's an Out Of Control slot! Lol. They removed the OUt Of Control slot and still somehow managed to get Satisfaction.

QuoteHalup Most copies of the CD come packaged with a DVD or Blu Ray. There are about 7 or 8 different versions of this release, only 1 of which is the 2 CD set. This #9 debut may be taking into account all versions since, I believe, every video version of the concert includes the CDs. Ah ha, that makes sense. Sucker that I am I'd probably buy the DVD and the CD version even if they didn&#

Quotedcba It's a stupid release : why buy the audio of a show when you can have a visual exp of it on DVD/bluray. GRRReedy Page or GRRReedy label! Because I can play a CD in my car but I can't play a DVD or bluray there. It's also not as easy to rip the audio tracks from a DVD or bluray as it is from a CD. And once ripped, I can put them on my phone and other mobile devices.

It is pretty funny that a lot of big bands from the '90s - Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, Red Hot Chilli Peppers - are now in their mid 40s like Mick and Keith were when they launched Steel Wheels in '89. Yet these bands are still considered relatively young and hip, whereas the Stones were roundly called dinosaurs starting in '89 (if not before). Onc

Great article and I agree with the points they make about how there were several pleasant surprises at the show. And how cool is it that they quoted members of this forum in the story.
