People This thread is going astray and losing its focus. The set list is less important than the Divine Object. Let's get back to the PLEXIGLASS!!!! It is indeed Divine. What Wonders we have beheld this evening, it foretold the set before it happened. All doubters must now BELIEVE!! tim from Plexiglass, Montana

JM You are right -- it is fun when we drive down to Denver to see the Stones. One time, I drove to Denver, picked up my brother, and we drove to Albuquerque New Mexico to see them in Oct 97. He and I had the longest and best visit we had had in years and even since then. And I have driven many times to California to see them with my wife and we make a little vacation out of it. The f

Hey JM Are you from England? Well, Montana is comparable in size, is definitely larger than some European countries (my own Big Horn County is larger than some eastern states). People from Europe, even from the east and west coasts of the US, have no point of reference to imagine a state this size and with less than one million people in the whole state. Take a look at the map. The point

Cindy If you live in Boston, why (pray tell, as my mother used to say) aren't you going to US shows, especially Boston for which you should be able to find incredibly cheap seats. Or, come out to Montana and be part of the excitement of a first-ever Stones show for an entire state!! tim from montana

I just love this shirt -- black, button down, kind of a silky feel, sleeves down to your elbows with "tumbling tongues" going all directions. I think they sold it during the Licks tour, but I cannot find one now. One site had it listed and a photo along with the price but it was out of stock. I e mailed them as to when it might be back in stock but got no reply. Any help on this

Kahoosier that was truly a great piece of writing (not just a good "post"). It was well thought out, you marshalled your evidence and presented your case, obviously considering both points of view. Will it stop any of the irrationality that too often appears on this board - no. But it was very fine and well done. Thank you for writing that. tim from montana

I thought Twicks I was the better of the two and that both were the best of the 12 shows I have seen on this tour - Boston both (openers), Hollywood Bowl both, San Francisco both, Denver, MSG both, Berlin. In the last third of the show or so, they just took it to another level and the music combined with the lights and pyrotechnics were powerful. I was a little distracted in Twicks II with

I am Shidoobee as well, but am much more active as an IORRian. I have met (and ate/drank/visited with them before Stones shows) the CEOs of IORR - BV, Rocks Off - Gazza, and Shidobee - Stones Doug and I swear all three are very nice guys and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Strange that they are all nice, you'd think one of the three would be an @#$%&, just knowing people and

All right, relax, cut out the retributions against those who may have made inappropriate remarks in the past, especially now that we have peace again. Just keep thinking of Gazza's photo (visualize it, imagine it and it will come to be - all together now (sorry if that sounds too much like the Beatles). tim from montana

Good one, Dan. I have to hand it to you on that one. tim from montana (where they are "sold out" except for the ones TicketM chooses to dribble out up until the show) BTW, Berlin had large chunks of empty seats, though the field/pitch seemed full.

I went to the Leavell site but the latest "chapter" in his diary is entitled "Down Under" Where do you find the latest stuff? Also, we met him and Bernard in Denver at the Tim Ries show and they each (especially Chuck) spent a little time with us, signed for us, and took photos with all of us. He is VERY down to earth. tim from Montana

Just one other thing to add to my reply on the Bonnington Hotel post. I spoke with Philip Townsend, the early Stones photographer, and he told me the story of how he came to photograph the Stones. He also said he still stayed in touch with everyone but Charlie and Mick. He stated that Bill Wyman told him that the band asked him to play with them on this tour, but that he turned them down as

I call it a Stones memorabilia show more than a convention. There were about 10 dealers in a small basement-type room. I thought there would be more dealers. A lot of posters, buttons, mugs, knick knacks, vinyl, CDs, DVDs, t shirts -- some rare and some not. I was surprised that there weren't more dealers with CD boots, but did pick up one item. The best thing for me was a couple of
