Gazza, I'm not sure that they really employ him. Cohl buys the rights for the their tours and guarantees them a looooooooooaaaaaad of money, so they're not out there on their own risk, but

Merchandise quality at an all-time low - merchandise prices at an all time high...now that really tells something about clever profit optimizing..... just say "NO" and you can sleep well. I always say no when someone offers me something that gives me the bad feeling that it is not worth the requested money at all. I just don't want to buy anything with a bad feeling, regardless if

That's great, and it perfectly demonstrates why they record songs like Streets Of Love (which I like, by the way) - I doubt that they'll ever get airplay with songs like Back Of My Hand or This Place Is Empty (which I like, by the way). Love it or hate it, but as long as they are an active band they will always try to reach new audiences and attract younger people. And that is ok wit

It is, however, a common misconception that the 12" version is a "Remix". It's not, it is a LONGER VERSION. Later tracks like Mixed Emot

I'll light a candle tonight and pray that this trackslist is not true... WHAT A CRAP COMPILATION! No Think I'm Going Mad, no Run Rudolp Run, no They Harder They Come and I guess Wild Horses (acoustic from Tokyo) is from the CD single which was culled from the Stripped album............! And those 12" mixes sounded bad back then, and they sound even badder and outdated now...

But you should end your remark like: "...limited Ron is NOWADAYS." Ronnie still rocks and rolls, but when a song needs a decent guitar solo (like Sway) his limitations become only too obvious. So

My understanding is that as long as the Stones exist as an active band, we won't get any archive releases. The Stones consciously leave older live recordings and studio outtakes in their archive for one simple reason: They want keep releasable material aside for the time after the Stones have officially called it quits. Another reason may be that, as I once read somewhere, Jagger is no

If they really played Sway it means that they actually listen to fan's wishes...well, if they really did this one I take my setlist whining so far back. No matter how it sounded, I applaud them for even giving Sway a try!!!!!!!! That's adventurous, that's a real surprise, and that's what I've been missing until now. Well done!

Yes, that's why I always loved Ronnie's playing (don't get me wrong, I always loved Taylor's playing too, but it was a completely different thing). And that's why I am so concerned that the interaction between Keith and Ronnie seemed to go down the hill since the BTB tour.

Great idea. However, even with DSL connection, my listening pleasure is a bit spoiled by buffering processes now and then which interrupt the music... Probably 128 quality is a little bit too high for my connection.

After weeks of repeated listening, nothing could change my opinion that ABB is a great album. It stands on it's own, no need comparing it with older albums. But still three tracks don't work for me: Dangerous Beauty, Sweet Neo Con and Infamy. I'll doubt they ever will! Three times thumbs down - that means thirteen thumbs up - not bad, isn't it?

It's a standout track. Other songs on ABB are great, but this one is really special, I would even say extraordinary.

This topic is an amazing showcase of how people seem to be talking about a certain subject but effectively talk about different things. Speaking for myself, I always loved Brian Jones as a Stones guitar player. And I always loved Mick Taylor as a Stones guitar player. And even if as early as in 1975/1976 certain people claimed that Ronnie Wood "is not as good as Taylor", I always lov
