30+ years later, a Journey reunion could outsell a Rolling Stones stadium show in North America. Ask any promoter who they would put their money on.

Quotebleedingman What exactly is the extra $63 fee for? I can live with $5 or maybe $10 but $63 EACH TICKET? For what? It's for being able to stay at home or work to buy tickets. The technology is painfully expensive + credit card fees, etc. $63 is way too expensive, but most of that is promoter profit since big bands these days get 100% of the gate.

After hearing that train wreck Gwen Stefani, I would be happy to hear Michael Winslow (the black guy from the Police Academy movies) make noises for 7 minutes.

My "write-in" choice for tonights special guest would be Oakland's own guitar hero, Joe Satriani to remind Keith how the leads are to be played.

The band is not to blame that the view was obstructed. That was a promoter choice to release the seats.

If the venues did not get 40% of the merch sales, merch would be cheaper.

On a positive note, this should set a warning to major promoters to stop making silly offers. The public is no longer interested in their dick waving contest.

I met Bruce Johnson a couple weeks ago and showed him a group photo I shot last year. His response was to make derogatory comments about Al Jardine. Something along the lines of "Tell, Al to watch where he sleeps". Mike Love on the otherhand was nice as can be. The live DVD is pretty damn good, however several show-stoppers are not on it and when I asked Mike Love about it he said he

Take them to something they will remember and with songs they know or songs that will never get old. Take them to a Beach Boys or Brian Wilson show. Those songs will be in the fabric till the end of time.

NHL Playoffs dates may be on hold. Pgh is an AEG facility, so, it's probably on the tentative list after the first on-sale.

As long as people continue paying and shows are at capacity or near capacity ticket prices will never lower. And to think I thought $40.00 was a lot in 1988 to see Frank Sinatra/Sammy David Jr. That was from the 5th row.

Pittsburgh, PA is an AEG building, but a third tier market. However, the building is only 3 yrs old and have already hosted, The Who, McCartney, Roger Waters, Springsteen & Madonna. Stones would be a nice show for them to add to their roster.

Not trying to be on an ego trip, but I've seen Eric on a few occassions while on tour walking around hotel grounds for a morning stroll...never once saw him holding a bottle of Tide or asking the front desk for change. And yes, I've had him do the stare thing into my eyes. It's a "yes, I am who you think...please leave me alone" gaze.

Does it look signed or drawn? The only way I can see a signature look that way is if the pen was held at 90 degrees. What human signs while holding a pen from the top just using their finger tips to guide. Just my opinion. Grab a pen and sign your name normal, now do it from 90 degrees. Notice the slants?

I saw BB King's name mentioned. Here are a few pics I shot of Mr. King back in November. He signed several things at shows end from stage. I had him sign a copy of Kenny Wayne Shepherd's 10 Days Out. It was already signed by many of the legendary blues musicians who contributed to the record.

Saw him in August, sold out theater show and an hour into people handfuls of people started leaving. People seemed bored and pissed that he was not playing anything familiar. I was working the show and you get a sense where people are having a good or bad time. Very uninspiring.

The problem with the 2012 stage is that people who are not inside the circle feel left out of the club. A show should not be segregated into a "Haves and Have Nots"
