Odd that they would play Pittsburgh, Columbus and Indainapolis. Columbus is 3 hours from Pittsburgh and Columbus to Indianapolis is about 4 hours. Seems too close to one another to create out of region ticket demand. However, odd is nothing new in that industry. If billboards are popping up in Columbus, as they have in Pittsburgh I guess it's a done deal. Columbus is a nice city.

My prediction 4 months ago was pretty dead on. Standard same 75 minute ZZ set that they've been doing for 2-3 years (well, actually 10 years give or take 3 song swaps) and the encoure just being Jeff sitting in on the ZZ encores, nothing special rehersed. ZZ still feels that fans want to hear "Pincushion" every tour since 1994.

A few years ago Buddy and I had a chat in my car and it was the simple everyday things that we sometimes take for granted he enjoyed. Asked him about his afternoon and told me how he walked to a Red Lobster near the hotel and had a bowl of clam chowder. He was raving how good it was.

I've probably seen ZZ Top 30 times since 1983. Shows are last 3 years have been very short. 75 minutes headliner set (encores included) is the normal. My prediction for set times: Jeff Beck: 75 Minutes ZZ Top: 55 Minutes Encore w/ Beck: 15 Minutes
