Absolutely, I think. And I'm not the only one: From perhaps the most complete book about the Stones music, the Norwegian book "Rolling Stones" by Bård Ose (my translation): "If you haven't heard the Brussels concert, you haven't heard the Stones at their best." And Mathijs once wrote that this was their best concert. I'd say that you don't know

The site is . I saw it in another thread, but this deserves ATTENTION. The finest rock of all time was played on October 17, 1973, in Brussels, Belgium, and on September 9, 1973, in London. Enjoy!

If you want L&G on DVD, try riizzo@pacbell.net. When I bought my copy, he still had some copies left.

Masterpieces or not masterpieces? To me, Keith's solo albums are among the best albums, from all artists, the last 30 years. Keith's style is so unpretentious, it's easy to underrate him. But that is also one of the reasons he is so good.

Good, but from the little journalists have written about the solo albums, it seems like they are underrated. As I understand, Exile was underrated when it was released, but later on "discovered". The solo albums also deserve a "discovery"!

Keith's solo albums seem to me to be forgotten masterpieces. The atmosphere is so relaxed, it puts you in a good mood, and makes you enjoy the good music, e.g. "You Don't Move Me" and "Demon". This is not a snipe at Mick, I hate it when people underrate him.

"Taylor was becoming Jagger's main writing partner back in the early 70's. Keith was MIA on a lot of stuff". Which stuff was in reality Jagger/Taylor? Are you sure this is true?

The reasons Mick T. are often not mentioned: 1 He is not a known songwriter or soloartist. 2 The Stones never released an album with his (and theirs) best work - the 72 and 73 tours. If the criterion is "who has played the best rock", Mick T. should be number one on the list.

I think people would have understood better how good Mick Taylor is, if the Stones had published their best concert versions (especially from Brussels and London 1973). That is simply the best rock in history, and an important reason for this is Mick Taylor.

What about Let It Loose, All Down the Line, Loving Cup, Ventilator Blues?

I signed the petition. Mick Taylor has done the most wonderful guitar work in rock history. It saddens me to see these idiotic remarks about him. I saw him on TV with John Mayall a year ago or so, he was great! Musically, the best would be if Ronnie played bass, and Mick T. once again showed us how good rock can be.

Happy in Ladies & Gentlemen is the best rock ever on screen. The best Happy version on record is on Europe '73 (i. e. Brussels Affair).

It definitely deserved better than #99 - perhaps the best "Stones" album since the 70s.

Yes, there is some extra stuff on the DVD version, but you got the best in the VHS version, I think. I especially love "Happy", toughest rock I've seen on screen. If you want the DVD version, contact riizzo@pacbell.net. When I bought my copy, he still had some copies left. I forgot who I bou

Yes. Europe '73 is from the concerts in Brussels and London. The best versions I've heard of all the tracks - BS, GS, Happy, JJF, MR ... Fantastic music.

Mine is "It Won't Take Long" - I love the almost comically brutal guitar. Few tracks since the 70s can compete with this one, perhaps e.g. "All About You", or "Hold Back".

"The album will be released in september, but we already know that in december it will be rereleased with bonus material." This is like saying to the fans - "we don't care what you feel, we just want your money". The Stones is the best band of all times, and should treat themselves and their fans with more dignity.
