Perhaps the best versions ever (especially of @#$%&): @#$%& - notice Keith, and the horns Heartbreaker - notice the horns, and Mick and Billy Preston at the end The Stars In The Sky They Never Lie: (track 5 and 6)

Dirty Work is my favourite album since Some Girls, especially because of Hold Back, Dirty Work, Sleep Tonight, One Hit, Fight. Excellent rock'n roll!

I think The Stones are better than them all - The Beatles, Dylan, Led Zeppelin... The Stones' music is unpretentious and noisy. The noise makes it difficult to "understand". And since it's not pretentious, like "difficult" music usually is, many don't understand how good it is.

I love Bee Gees, too. As Bono said: "It doesn't have to be said, the Bee Gees are up there with the Beatles."

The version on Get Your Leeds Lungs Out, Leeds 1971, is my favourite, but the Gimme Shelter version is good, too.

It's all about enjoyment, and there's probably some Stones music that you still enjoy. Put those favourites on a CD, and I bet you'll play it now and then!

Happy - Ladies and Gentlemen. The "pressure" is at the top, no one else has played rock as engaging as this.

I remember a Japanese fan said on TV - "The Rolling Stones make me happy!" That, and the superb music, I think.

The "avoid" list is silly - no Stones album should be "avoided", they're too good. And the albums they've chosen - e.g. lots of Dirty Work and Emotional Rescue is excellent. About the top list - Ya-Ya's should've been at or near the very top!

"The stars in the sky they never lie" has excellent versions of @#$%& and Hearbreaker, from Hamburg, Oct. 2, 1973 (http://cds.jrd.org.uk/list/cd.rol.tsitstnl.shtml).

You can try (important, the "Video Format" is so-called NTSC). I bought mine from riizzo@pacbell.net. Enjoy!

Lots of people dislike Matthews singing with The Stones, but not everyone: In an interview with Keith in IORR a few years ago, the interviewer complained about this. But Keith said he liked it. And these were not empty words, you can see that in the BtB-video, e.g. the way Charlie applauds Matthews.

Insane, PARTLY because of Matthews? I don't know who you are, and feel no need to know it either.

I think the No Security version with Dave Matthews is excellent, partly thanks to Matthews!
