We know how Howard feels about Mick but we don't know what Mick thinks of Howard.Usually the interviewees know Stern and often appreciate his professional skills.Mick has a good sense of humor so hopefully they will click and have a great time. Rockandroll, Mops

Thank you HBwriter; to realise that Mick few hours later was going to to be on stage and with the stones play one of their best show is amazing. Mick looked and sounded waisted. A few hours of sleep and he was good to go in 1978! Very rock and roll! Rockandroll, Mops

Texas Forth Worth 1978: fantastic performance by Mick and the band is on fire. Completely rock and roll and fun. I watch or listen to that show once in a while to remind me what a live band has to do on any given night to be the best band in the world. Rockandroll, Mops

Let Mick and Keith decide. I won't judge them for whatever decision they are going to make. Only Mick and Keith know. Rockandroll, Mops

RIP Charlie Watts. Thank you immensely for your commitment to the Stones'music. After the mourning period, Mick and Keith will have to decide what to do; not an easy conversation. Rockandroll, Mops

It seems that during the making of BTB there were lot of musicians involved in the process. It is a case of a "record" for the Stones? Was it an experimemt? The more the better? I love BTB the record, the US tour , the"Double Door" gig club in Chicago. Rockandroll, Mops

Is Sicily safe for a rich man with his family? When I think Sicily I think mafia. May be I am wrong to think that way. No disrespect for the people of Sicily who are great people like the rest of us. Rockandroll, Mops

If I remember Keith's book, Richards said that at th time of the "Perfomance" movie making, his relationship with Mick was damaged. I think Keith said that after it was not the same. If doubt in Keith's mind started there, it is possible to trace the fall out to that point although it is a stretched.

If Mick and Keith allow Steve to "let the tiger out" at the end of the extended jam on songs like JJF or BS that could be exciting. Rockandroll, Mops

With the Winos, Steve's drums are upfront, some may say loud. With the Stones my guess is that is not going to be the case. Probably a more conventional mix&balance which will make a difference with the Winos sound. Rockandroll, Mops

QuoteRockman The Wolf freaked Ringo out on the first night .... Ringo never came back .... That's funny. Ringo was subbing for Charlie on may 2nd because Watts was not available that day .On the 3rd Charlie and Bill showed up and played for the rest of the sessions during that week. Rockandroll, Mops

With Steve stepping in for Charlie it is reassuring. Steve has proven to be an essential musical relationship to Keith; in fact few years ago(2015) Jordan convinced Richards to work on his solo career again. I try to have a positive view on the situation, and I hope that musically something great happen. Get well Charlie and comeback soon! Rockandroll, Mops

I drove to Atlantic City friday (from DC) to catch the Blues Travelers at the HArdrock Cafe. Opening the show was J.J. Grey and Mofro. J.J. was amazing!!! I wore a mask but it seems that I was the only one in the audience of maybe 400 persons. I felt weird but I kept my mask on because I believe I was doing the right thing. Rockandroll, Mops

Mick and Keith are not drummers; although they could direct Steve a little bit, my guess is that Steve is on his own as far as deciding what he will do musically. Steve is a great musician and he will not get in the way of the songs, but I am sure that critics are going to come at him pretty hard. Rockandroll, Mops

Quoteroundnround Just want to set the record straight... I conducted the interview with Steve Jordan for the Darryl Jones documentary. What has been "quoted" here by some people is wildly exaggerated and inaccurate. It was a long interview and Steve said many positive things about both Bill Wyman and Darryl. He did not trash Bill or devalue his contributions to the Stones at all. He

QuoteMassimo68 Gabby Williams, french team qualified today for the semi-finals. Nice tattoo At first I thought that the Stones' logo was photo shopped. But after googling her and going through many pictures, I found one with the tongue on her arm. Is she a fan? She is young so maybe she just got it because it looks cool. I work for public middle school in the USA and once in a while

My guess is that Steve Jordan is going to play the parts that Charlie has created over the decades, the parts that are essential to the songs but when the stones are going to play the end of the warhorses where it can get loose and crazy Steve is going to kick some ass which could bring something new and exciting for the musicians and the audience. That would be a good scenario ; respect for the

Steve has spent lot of time with Keith. I can only image that they must have spoken about the stones music. If Steve believes that Bill did not contribute that much while Steve was not present with band, his point of view on the subject must have been also influenced by Keith's stories. Is that fair to say/guess? Rockandroll, Mops

When I saw the headliner " Charlie is out" I instinctively thought of Jim Keltner as a substitute. Steve Jordan is great but usually his style is a lot louder than Charlie's. Steve is a super pro and he will synch with the Stones's sound without a problem. It is cool to has Darryl and Steve taking care of the "bottom". Charlie is great and he is irreplacable! Rock

I celebrated my birthday yesterday with my friend Marie; she is a big fan, she has been to Stones concerts many times always in the pit, always good seats. But this time she is not going. Money, covid19, lack of enthousiasm, I am not sure but I was shocked when she said abrutly " I am not going". I hope to go, to Pittsburg. But I wonder how many fans will decide like Marie not to go.

QuoteBig Al Very recently, I listened to Dirty Work from start-to-finish, for the first time in an absolute age; in fact, possibly ever. You know, the world didn’t cave in; it’s not that bad at all. I wouldn’t describe the album as ‘good’, but, certainly, a solid ‘meh’, or bang-average. I did listen to it too, recently after following a podcast on the subject of "Dirty Work". I agree wi
