Thanks for sharing the photos! I was not there, but sure it was a great concert. By the way - I don't care much about Darryl's coffee habits. But we might start a new thread about that...

Eric Snow wrote that Keith is the only Stone that never missed a gig. So: when did the others miss a gig? Was there a gig without Mick? And at least the band had to change plans when Keith fell from the ladder looking for a book or falling from a tree looking for whatever...

There are hardly any photos of the stones consuming substances. Well, Keith doesn't consume here neither...he is sleeping peacefully. What an amount of powder on the mirror - whow!

Ahem...from the original Stones line up remain three I think. No big difference. It's great that they only play with a group of six people. Not many of the dinosaurs can or want to do that.

1990 in Hannover was the only time I saw them life. Really enjoyed to see them - still alive and kicking. I was totally sure that this was their last tour. The atmosphere was great and I did not regret to be there, but the sound was not as I would have expected from a Stones-concert. Too perfect, too clean, Big-band. If I could afford a ticket, I would go this year, but I can't. Thi

His t-shirt: "Who the f§ck is Mick Jagger?" "The only way to leave this band is in a box." (He was mistaken). Asked in an interview what one has to do to get a Keith's (his hairstyle). "Don't wash it too often." Made me laugh, thinking about the hairstylist, who surely spent hours to make Keith look like Keith.

I saw them in 1990, and was sure to enjoy a historic moment - the last tour ever of the Rolling Stones. I was wrong. But as the years go by, the possibility that this tour might be the last one is becoming more probable. I think, this could really be the last big stadium tour. That the last concert is in London would be he perfect ending of an incredible long and great carreer. It all beg

Keith looks great on these photos. Makes me feel optimistic about the european tour 2007! He looks fit, thinner than before, great hairdo (maybe I should try something like that, I am a baldhead too), and this funny moustache... Indeed he does look a bit like Bob Dylan with big ears.

Generally I find it a bit difficult, when old, or let's say very old rock stars, still dress as if they were in their twenties. It's the same with the performance: grandfathers singing about sex with very young girls ("stray cat blues") leaves me a bit doubtful. But what can I say - I am 45 and still dress as I ever did. Let's grow old next year... I wonder if Al

I hope Anita had a nice little birthday-party. Like with Keith it's a miracle that she survived the 70's. Does she live in London nowadadays? They could have done a fine revival in Cheyne Walks - if Keith still owns it. What about Anita's memoirs? Could be interesting if she remembers enough from those wild days.

Rory was great, but surely no team-player. But with his drinking-habits he could have been a good buddy for Keith. Sadly his liver was not so strong as the riff-meister's. I like his solo-records after the break-up of taste. I agree with TombstoneShadow - after Mick Taylor it had to be Ron Wood.

Did Keith miss gigs? When did the Stones perform without Keith? I never heard about that. They started concerts sometimes hours late because of reported "no snow - no show" problems, but did they ever cancel gigs because Keith was not able to perform?

That's funny - I totally forgot about "Angie"! This was the big hit-single and I think even my dad knows that song. In 73 I liked "Angie", but over the years it was so overplayed, that I couln't stand it any more. I remember that many said, the Stones were selling out doing "Angie" - at least it was very succesful. I believed that it was written by

Sorry about the Jimmy Miller mistake. Yes, he was highly strung out on heroin - like Keith. I think both didn't contribute much to this album. They recorded parts in Jamaica, which wasn't all fun neither. The production tecniques in the studio were not very good and they had some trouble there if memory serves me well. One of the women - Bill's then partner I think - was ra

Yesteray night I enjoyed a good wine and "Goats head soup". When it came out in 1973 I was 11 years old. I knew the Rolling Stones, but only their "Hits", the songs that were played on the radio, mostly Brian Jones era stuff. In our small town was a little record shop and everyday after school I watched the record-covers in the window. I listened to Sweet, T. Rex, Gary

As the weather is so lousy here in Hamburg, I try to fight it with some brazilian tunes: Joyce "tardes cariocas", Ana Martins "samba sincopado", and one from Clara Moreno "morena bosa nova". Just received those 3 cd's via amazon on monday, the last two records are very hard to find in gemany. Favourite songs these days when I'm drunk (but been so

The soundtrack version to me is the "über-version", it's phantastic. But I like the Metamorphosis version too. Metamorphosis was my first Stones-record, I bought it very cheap in a second-hand-store. So that version was the first one I heard, maybe because of that I like it too. It is Keith on that version on guitar, no? He really hated everything connected with "Per
