the band is better than ever? thanks god that individual tastes differ. i tried to watch the "biggest bang" dvd - box the other day. for the first time in my life i was too bored to watch a new stones - dvd. i switched to the tv - program instead. i havn't watched any more of the dvd's yet. maybe i am too old to rock'n roll. maybe they are. like many old people i

The 82 spot is really great. Sadly I have no sound-card, so I can only watch it. Keith and Ronnie look like they had a nice little party. And all that rubbing their noses...did they catch a cold?

"All good ones are taken"? Good point. I just try to recall, what might have been a so called evergreen written in the last, let's say, 10 years. "Baby one more time" "sung" by britney spears? I don't think so. Any ideas? Me not...

Sad news. He was 75 years old and remained active as a musician til the end. His spirit will live on in his jazzclub "birdland". Rest in peace, Joe!

I had an invitation for a Marilyn Manson concert including the after show party with Marilyn. I don't like the music, so I didn't go. Sadly the after show party was a real burner including all my favourity exzesses... Sometimes one must suffer a little to get a reward afterwards...

Janne Schaffer, a guitarereo from sweden. He played on several Abba tracks, but as a solo artist he did typical 70s jazz-rock fusion. I saw him in the early 80s I think, when his star was sinking yet. The music was okay, if you can stand fusion, but the man was horribly grimassing, it was impossible to watch. Every solo he played - and there was lots of noodling! - he repeated with his t

2.000 concerts - whow - that's 5 and a half years work. Not bad - that means 40 years freetime. Okay, there was some recording-work too, but all in all those guys had a fine time...(-:

If it's too loud, then you are too old? In my case it's the other way round: as I get older, everything becomes softer. I am 45. Now I have earplugs with me to protect what is left from my ears in case the music is way too loud. What a drag it is getting old!

Yes, love hurts. But time is a healer... Always promise myself, that I won't go through that again. Wan't to enjoy the fun and leave out deep emotions. But when it happens, it happens. And here we go again... Hope your wounds heal fast!

Some guitar parts are overdubbed by Pierre? If it's true, it seems that Keith playing is very bad nowadays. Did Pierre play on "Bigger Bang" too...? Maybe we see him on stage on the next tour... But seriously, I find that hard to believe. I still have not seen the DVD yet, but I am very curious.

Yesterday on various german tv-channels it was reported that shortly after the stones arrived at their hotel in hamburg after the concert, a buch of angels appeared and entered the hotel too to pay a visit to the band. Comments were, that there is a "lifelong" friendship between the stones and the angels. Well, in altamont keith did not seem very happy with the behaviour of t

I'll be there on the next tour...(-: There are still tickets left, so everybody who is more lucky than me and has no ticket yet - take your money and run there! the relationship between the stones and the angels is interesting. in london for the hyde-park-concert they were pretty good as a kind of security. in altamont not. didn't the then chief of the angels (sonny barger?) want the stones to be killed afterwards? so i find it a bit mysterious why the angels get this special treatment nowadays. strange indeed.

Willy de Ville performing with only two other musicians in the Fabrik in Hamburg. It must be something like 6 years ago. I didn't like Willy's music before - well I did not know much - but the concert was incredible. Great guy, great performer.

Hi Heinz, sorry, I got something completely wrong yesterday. I was very busy at work and didn't have much time to read, understand and response in the right sense. I just wanted to point out that for me it doesn't matter if there is a Tim or a Darryl in the headline, because I really enjoyed the photos you made. I didn't realize, that the coffe-remark came from you, so my
