on the black and blue cover keith looks astonishingly fit and young, compared with photos from the 72 stp or the annie leibowitz tour book. i had the cover hanging on my kitchen wall for the time i lived in that appartment. my then girlfriend didn't like the photo. well, she didn't like cooking neither, so it was not a big problem. wonder how they made keith look like he did on th

sjs12, "neighbours" is a good choice for a 4 years old kid. do you have problems with your neighbours (loud music perhaps...)? my daughter likes "start me up" very much. but only for the music, she doesn't understand english.

everytime (well - doesn't happen SO often...) the rolling stones bring out a new record, i am one of the first who buy it (i am oldschool - no downloading - i want the cd), i listen nervous and always think:"god - they finally lost it. just formula. just old songs redone. nothing the world will remenber next year.nothing that brings some light into my life, as it used to be."

cindyc, one can recover from things like this. my daughter was a huge teletubie-afficionado, and i recovered. so did she - when 8 years old she borrowed a ramones double-cd from me and never gave it back. she celebrated he 10th birthday one week ago, and now she is into green day and stuff like that. i miss her.

i tried to check about spanish tony recently, but i could not get any new informations via net. it was "his" book "up and down with the rolling stones", that changed me from a normal stones-listener to an afficionado. i was 14 when a friend of mine lend me the book and told me, that even for someone who does not know the band this book would be very entertaining. he

i think that good old keefster likes to put out nice little stories and remarks once in a while. didn't he see muddy waters paint the ceiling in a studio? maybe he had too many mushrooms for breakfast. i really had to laugh, when he once mentioned, that in the 70s he always carried a gun to shoot out the lights in the dealers appartments after scoring his smack, because they would try

as the meters played langerado yesterday, i asked myself if there were several stones connections. i think they opened for the stones in the 70s. wasn't the drummer in the new barbarians? there are connections to the nevilles and there was a neville in the whinos. any further informations?

i recall in 69 keith was wandering around in the altamont-crowd, talking and charing drugs with some people. well, i didn't see him at the langerado music festival yesterday... as they play in fort lauderdale today, i think that the old boys were in the region yet. what do they do? always hang around in their hotel? watching tv all the time? maybe keith has two rooms now - one fo

i like every good twang... but thinking about duane eddy, i must say, that i only know some songs, but don't owe a record or cd. sure worth checking out! i listen to many different kinds of music, and my journey still continues. "twanghound" is the result of choosing a name for ebay once. i wanted something that had a stones - or better a keith-connection. i found it c
