I'd be very surprised if Keith didn't play at this, especially considering Ivan and Steve Jordan are already signed up.

QuoteMathijs [ I am just surprised to see the body guard behind him. You just don't expect the local nurse to jump on Keith Richards in his home town. Mathijs I'd bet John Lennon didn't think he was going to get shot up in front of his home either. Better safe than croaked!

QuoteChris Fountain QuoteEleanor Rigby agreed and thanks...however 1 good rendition of a song doesn't make a concert! think Perth '73 is alot better than this... Maybe i feel sorry for Philly itself. Vick let me down on my fantasy football team. And there is nothing appealing about that town. Rocky?? Are you shitin me? One movie too many ... Sixers Eagles screw the Flyers

QuoteSecondSet Yaffa is now a member of the New York Dolls No, he's not. Both Sami and Steve Conte left the Dolls awhile back. Sami's been playing with Michael Monroe and his own band, Mad Juana. I've hung out with Sami a bunch, and never heard anything about him joining the Stones. I'll certainly ask him about it the next time see him.

Quotesuperrevvy Quotefiftyamp Luck for you, no one is forcing you to attend. Here, I'll help you sell tickets on this ROLLING STONES website: Maybe Mick will show up! And Damien and ARR too! Feel better now? Now make me feel better and honor my very reasonble request to put "OT" in the subject line Pretty demanding for someone with 14 useless posts to their name..

Quotesuperrevvy These two losers got all that Super Heavy publicity from Mick and then tried to sell their own solo records piggybacking. And even with routine good reviews, they couldn't even peddle the things to their own fan bases, no less the general public. So do they wise up and Stewart go back to Lennox and Joss go back to making modern soul music? Uh-uh. They decide to swirl down the

Quote71Tele Quotefiftyamp Mick says Don Was censored 'Petrol Blues' lyrics as to not offend Arabs. Nice to know that Mr. Was is not only helping himself to bass parts on Rolling Stones songs but editing lyrics as well. This really pissed me off. Who the F is Don Was to tell any Rolling Stone what to write? Stick to walking dinosaurs, Mr Was.

Last night he mentioned to me that he was told the Stones are playing in Philadelphia next summer. He didn't question his source because he didn't know any better - all he did was file

No matter what kind of life Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg lived back in the 70's, and how awfull, neglecting parents they supposed to were, Marlon and Angela seemed to end up alright, and seem to be strong individuals living a life in their own terms these days. But then I hear the stories of the perfect f

He lent him money when he was broke, helped his family, got him fights, etc., and Ali payed him back by calling him a gorilla and a ugly nigger. Ali a

There were only about 20 people at the Philly showing. Pretty sad considering it was the only showing in the whole city. I thought the Jagger interview was absolutely useless. He seemed to just ramble on and on without actually saying anything. Where were the rest of the band for this interview? The performance was very good. The sound in the theatre was much too low, and it barley drowned

Quotegwen Rich sold a lot of his guitars in the early 2000s. His Zemaitis Disc Front was for sale, a Les Paul Jr was as well, on that famous web shop that sells Zs. I think that's the reason he was touring with Trussard on the Lion tour. I bet he has at least 500 guitars. I don't recall the disc front up for sale.

The coolest part of the show was the arsenal of guitars he's touring with. A 1960 LP flametop worth about $175K was the highlite. Funny, that guitar alone was probably worth about a 1/3 of the price it would take to buy the whole club! Did you atte

QuoteMadMax A follow up to Main Offender is IMHO even better than a new STones record!!!! I agree! I would much rather see KR play small theatres than hear Miss You for the 100th time at some 70k seat stadium. I do know KR was recording in NYC with Steve Jordan last week.

Quote71Tele Personally, I like medium gauge on the acoustic, as think it gives a richer tone. But most players seem to opt for light gauge. Me too. I use phosphor bronze Meds 013s. I think too many players opt for the light gauge because they're used to playing electric. Of course this is counter productive, because if you're using a heavier gauge on the acoustic, it just strengthe
