Have you even been to a concert where the main act was booed by the audience ? I remember seeing David Bowie's Diamond Dogs tour in 1974 at Radio City, New York and the audience was booing him !!! This was Bowie's transition away from Glam and the fans were shocked to see him come out in a white jacket/pants with no theatrics. I too was disappointed but I did not boo.

I was just watching TV - Walter Cronkite special - he showed the Beatles arriving in America and on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964. I remember watching Ed that night with my parents and I got goosebumps then at the age of 9. Watching it now at the age of 51, I still get goosebumps. Music is a powerful thing.
