I just got joint's Knebworth 76 DVD and the 78 texas incl SNL. Wow! Great versions of Little Red Rooster, Wild horses, Hot Stuff, Midnight Rambler and Street Figthing Man. They had life then. And in 78 I never really liked the bootleg cd's that much but to see them live it was rockn roll not the theater they but up now.

I do not know how you can defend the Stones for this tour when it comes to their setlists. Its bad. Tokyo shows some light, but North America was just a scam. Vary the set lists play something interesting? But, no its all the same over and over.

A pretty good setlist for the first Tokyo show and 10 days later a small venue to be broadcasted. That sounds good. The other two shows broadcasted in South America did not do much for me.

I was thinking of going. It would have cost me $2,000 with airfare etc. I saw them in Seattle. Thanks God I stayed home!!! The only thing that was any different would have been Midnight Rambler, which is great but man they need to smarten up. The Forum yesterday was somewhat better, but not much. The only hope for this tour left is Radio Hall, but I do not expect much from that now.

Stones are now at the stage of the tour where they play some very interesting small venus such as Vegas, the Forum and NY Radio Hall. One should hope they take the opportunity to play some better songs. Tape the songs for dvd and make this lousy tour half interesting. A ray of hope?

Yeah the set list and the show is now to borderline pathetic. That Rio show just proves it and then Argentina YAWN. The only song at Rio that was OK was RJ and GOOMC. I hope Stones dont make fools of themselves and release this crap on DVD. Hope the small venues in Vegas and NY to be much better and tape those for a release.
