You guys will not go back to this album for more than a curious listen after a year or two from now. It is substandard in most every way.

I think it continues the long line of bad, pointless album covers starting with EMOTIONAL RESCUE.

90% of the people at the shows are going because it's like a hip museum to say you've been to before it inevitably closes down. They don't care about the music, the band, the songs, or anything else. If the STONES hadn't been as well managed as mythic legends by Jagger, then the Stones would be nothing more than the best band ever playing in mid-size arenas for however long th

WANDERING SPIRIT, better than any Stones album from UNDERCOVER on. Every other Jagger album, TERRIBLE!!!

The greatest singer/songwriter (BOTH!) of all time, hands down.

This is the last of the big tours. Even Mick said recently they only planned on about 20 Festival based shows for this tour, but things got carried away. Part of the reason they went back out so soon after LICKS is that Mick knows physically he won't be able to do it as well for much longer for this duration. Think about the turn around time between LICKS and this tour. Barely anytime passed

Joe Perry has taken it further than Keith and kept up his chops, no need to bash him.

I love this song on the DOUBLE DOOR boot. That must be from 1997. It rocks bigtime, the way it should.

Vancouver! They missed it on the LICKS tour too and I hoped they'd make it here this time.

It is actually pretty boring. No reason to turn it into a by the numbers blues.

That's one of the live highlights of the last 25 years for sure. A real beauty.

Along with LAUGH..., it's the best song on the new album. Sounds like the Stones but not 'by numbers' as alot of other tunes on there.

I absolutely love this song and this version. A definite classic.

The last true Rolling Stones 'as a band rather than an idea' album.

What's the worst STONES review you guys have seen, where they just slag the living daylights out of our boys, deserved or not? I remember in a Vancouver weekly paper when B2B came out. The review section of the paper had regular length, muli-paragraph analysis of the new releases. However, in amongst those, just a 1 line review of B2B. "Makes for a great drink coaster!". That wa

Without a doubt, the best song the STONES recorded in all of the 1980's and 90's and 00's.

78 had way more character and attitude. I love 81 too, but 78 blows it away. Much like (to me), 2002/03 blows away 2005.

As much as the Stones are my favorite band, LED ZEP would outsell them by at least 3-1. If the Stones had broken up 20 years ago, maybe they'd have a shot, but they are too dismissed by the general public now as greedy old men and that unfortunately tarnishes the catalogue too. Back the main topic, I love STILL LIFE too.

It is very gracious of Charlie to say this stuff, but I would pray that they would call it a day if he was not there. Just as integral as Mick and Keith to my ears.

You are correct. I find it the most addictive rock drummer beat there is. It has to do with the way he doesn't hit the Hi-Hat when he hits the snare, which I've never seen any other 'rock' drummer do. By the same token, Keith has a limited bag of tricks, but they work. God bless Charlie Watts.

It is odd that UMT and LET'S SPEND THE NIGHT TOGETHER have all but disappeared from Stones history. I wonder why? They are not dated by any means.

Quite honestly, I don't think anyone has bettered any original versions. Surprisingly though, they haven't had the amount of covers they deserve.

I actually won the promo, prerelease CD single of that song at STONES PLACE in Toronto for answering a skill testing question, first and loudest. No rock remix though, just a single edit, and album version. Cool digipack case though. The question? Who opened for the Stones at the EL Mocambo shows back in 1977?

Does anyone actually know a good Aerosmith message board? Been searching for one. They are excellent in every way. I hate to see them encroaching on the Stones legacy, but I think they just may be. Please let me know about the message board!

Damn. I wasn't gonna watch this because I thought you were overreacting, but it was far worse than I ever could've imagined. Keith was just smashed. As a recovering alcoholic, I could see right away how messed up he was. Felt bad for Mick trying to MC the whole thing. Charlie and Ronnie just seemed bored. Keith happily, blissfully ignorant of any professional obligation. I hate to say i

He was onstage playing on RAIN FALL DOWN at the AMA's. I noticed and thought, "c'mon guys, how much support do you need?". I'm sure he's supremely talented, but I don't want to see him up there. The Stones already have 2.5 competent guitarists.
