josepi, I haven't seen J. Geils live so cannot make a comparison. I did see a Peter Wolf solo show in 2002 and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. My guess is that it is probably more personal, he told a few stories, and he put on one hell of a show with a great band behind him. GO!
