well, the tour sticky's are down. may tell you something. if they play the shows, and it is 100% their decision that's one thing. but if they are in some kind of trap business wise, and are being forced to do these shows that's something else. why they just don't cancel dates for a tour that was suppose to have ended early last summer is a mystery. and quit bashing mick like h

does anyone know if woody, mick and keith have been in london these last two weeks? did bill see charlie? nobody knew of patti's bladder cancer. they have been good at keeping things behind closed doors. wishing this never happened naturally leads to wanting to know why. i'm sure we'll know in the next month.

the time has arrived to call it a day. they have given us everything. have to imagine that the loss of charlie ends the obligation the band had to do this tour. as a long time fan it seemed it was business pressures that extorted mick to fulfill these dates. no charlie means no stones. why "fans" cannot respect that position is beyond me.

Oh No! he gave us everything! thank you charlie. i live for the stones and you have been a reason why. the best! my love of the band and your drumming will only grow stronger. you brought immense joy to millions of people. thank you, thank you, thank you.

this is where bob dylan is leading the way with "shadow kingdom". the stones could stream this show.

the question is what guitar keith used for "brown sugar"? i thought this was known. it's the white SG he used for the opener at the jan. '73 LA show. he's mentioned it in interviews before.

hope charlie is alright. no charlie changes everything. maybe bob dylan's "shadow kingdom" is the way forward for guys at or near eighty years old. pretty BS'y if they go out. hopefully they'll figure it out and not embarass themselves, and more importantly not screw the fans over. they've said it themselves, no charlie, no stones.

for people with tickets, locked in and ready to tour, i hope the announcement that the tour is on comes true. happy shows! but california is back to indoor mask requirements. and places with low vaccination rates have low vaccination rates for a reason. the "i ain't getting the vax" crowd is convinced the vaccine will Kill You. it ain't funny and they are as serious as a heart

it would be better if they put out a full tempe and best of filmed in NJ (tina/honky tonk. ect.) at the correct speed. and a remix with loud '81 tour guitars. that would be great. probably unpossible, though.

if you are older and have an underlying condition you are not suppose to get the vaxcine. plus, if he did take the pfizer or moderna shots this may not have happened.

i saw the san fran shows with metallica opening. they were good, entertaining. but not better than the stones. the nice thing about a good, popular, successful opening act is they really prime the stage for the stones. wanna like skynyrd, fine, but from what i've see of knebworth the stones were good. it's the stones themselves that hate knebworth because they got royally ripped-off by

KC was a great show that tour. the selfie was a great moment. surprised it never surfaced anywhere. plus, the stadium people really know how to be nice to old people going to see the rolling stones. as opposed to indy where altamont was supposedly going to break out at any moment. of course that's why mick Thanked KC and never Thanked indy.

QuoteSend It To me Columbia, MO 1994 - $50 Everyone knows the VL setlist, they played "Memory Motel" as the variable song. this was an excellent show. keith smoked 'you got me rocking', absolutely blistering. voodoo had some great shows.

QuoteExileFromNJ I was at the show in 97. Although it did not affect the event I remember a fire behind the stage outside the stadium when the show was over. I thought the crowd was a bore compared to NY and NJ. I don't have my setlist collection handy but I remember them doing Star Star and people looking like "what did he just say?" We gotta fire this place up tonight. the f

man, this hurts. first time missing them in california since 1997. looks like santa clara was the show of the tour. pasadena would have been show 100 for me. looks like keith is back to full strength. and mick was singing better than ever. nothing better than a california night with the stones at the top of their game. make that two nights. here's to a better show than santa clara! HisBobness put out the 'rolling thunder revue' boxset. is it possible to do the same for the 'some girls' tour of 1978? how many quality recordings are there of the tour. you got palladium, fox theater, arena shows in lexington, st. paul, st. louis, stadiums in chicago, oakland.

shows #97 & #98 for me. due to the schedule changes it's probably the last time i see the stones. mick was fantastic but i was really disappointed in keith and his lack of preparation. with mick having such a major procedure i was expecting keith to pick up were he left off in warsaw. it seems he hasn't touched a guitar since last summer. 'monkey man' was a major mistake a

let me throw in an alternative 2 cents from section 335. could have been sitting in a section that had bad sound. for most of the night they were an unholy mess. that is more from the house mix than the band. too often you "saw" guitar playing but did not hear it. strong opening and sad, sad, sad rocked, with nasty guitars. you got me rocking was nasty, too. but the acoustic songs did n

"Possible future project: special Bootleg Series section on Spotify or Apple Music as Sony Music seems to want to withdraw from the market of physical releases." this would be a tragic mistake. the CD's sound 1000X times better than spotify.

Commentary: The problem with the Rolling Stones' 'Brown Sugar' Rolling Stones By: Ian Brennan Imagine everyone in a sold-out stadium singing along joyfully to a tune glorifying slavery, rape, torture and pedophilia, with the entire chorus led by a hyper-gesticulating 75-year-old white male, centimillionaire. It sounds like something out of a dystopian horror film or a tale o
