Do you think one of the "unreleased songs" will be that one they did in Austin called "Bob Wills is still the King"?. Does it count if it's been released by someone else?

Yeah, and the Fem's were still pissed in '81...If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure they flew a plane over the Philly show (26 Sept. 81?) dragging a sign that said "BLACK AND BLUE HURTS WOMEN"...does anyone else remember this, or was I impaired...nah, I was definitely impaired, was I hallucinating? I could've been, in Philly, YOU NEVER KNOW!

The source of this was, I believe, Johnny Rotten. He was on a local Washington, D.C. radio station (syndicated?) "moderating" a "battle of the bands" between the Saints and the Ramones (mid-to late 70's? ). They would play a song by each, and J.R. would comment, as only he could. Since The Ramones were from America, and this was being broadcast to an American audience(

I saw L.S in their prime, and I'll take middling(?) Stones anyday...at the show I saw, people were throwing cherry bombs, M-80's, whatever, at L.S. The frontman actually stopped the show for a minute. Has anyone ever heard of a concert in Australia when The Saints opened for the Stones? I've heard stories about this, don't know if it's B.S. or not.

I read that it had Ronnie and Nils Lofgren on it. I think it said it was recorded from 2 "private" shows, whatever that means.

JW played up in Baltimore recently and got a very good review. A few years ago, he came around DC and got a very poor review. I read where he has overcome a broken hip, so he sits on stage. Also, his eyesight is quite poor (not uncommon with albino persons, I think), but some reviewer wrote that poor eyesight might not have as bad an effect on his playing as one might think, because he's

I was down for the Austin show, and the writer in the Austin paper said it was the best live show of the year. In that town, that's saying something.

I think Vigil is right...I think somewhere they talk about the guy from Journey(Steve Perry?) coming off looking like a dope in one of the Philly shows...I was there and I think he DID come off looking like a dope.

Big Al, Don't get me wrong- I think the guy is good...I should have written that he has "alot" of talent, rather than "some" talent. I should think more before I type. Sid was a F-up, but from what I've seen in interviews with him, he never struck me as dumb, just foolish and reckless. That said, I've always thought that alot of the U.K. music people

"Rolling Stone" sent a guy over to (try to) follow him around for a few days. The result was a pretty distubing profile of someone roughly equating to Sid Vicious with some musical talent. I thought the first Libertines album was O.K. Sad indeed.
