The point to the vault releases is to knock the bootleggers out by putting out a superior product. Eventually they may release the unknown/uncirculated stuff. Perhaps they are holding back for when no tour or new recording is possible? We will have to wait and see.

Digital release is the way to go. It's cheap and easy and no record label needed. Sales of abb were about 2.5 million. I doubt anyone on this board had sold that many. Over double platinum ain't shabby.

It's a solid album. 19th nervous breakdown has nice country twinge to it on this version. Back of my hand is killer on this version.

These two are great tracks. The first time I heard d&g I thought it sounded like ac/DC meets the Stones. OMS is great. I love the groove the classic keef riff. I agree though D and G didn't work live. The guitars sounded to clean and MJ was "pushing" the vocals instead of singing it. The band seemed to get lost or unfocused on OMS.

I hope they do a new album and it truly is a roots album. If it's a rocking hard hitting album I'll be satisfied as long as I get a new album. But whatever they do, they need to record it in Analog! Digital recording may be easier to do but it sound so flat and cold, especially for stones music.

I agree with flacvinyl. Keith did a pretty damn good version of Run Run Rudolph. So why not pick another Chuck Berry tune? Through in another Buddy Holly song or a Johnny cash song.

Interesting they are playing Bobby Dodd in Atlanta. There are other stadiums in the area like turner field. The sound at bobby dodd is terrible! Even during football games the echo is atrocious. Oh well im going if they are coming!
