For me....it's the so-called "stones fans" that ruin every aspect of the show these days. The Stones should require that everyone who wants to attend a particular show take a "Rolling Stones Test" out in the parking lot. This will weed out the so-called fans from us die-hards. The one's who really care. (I can dream, can't I?.....LOL)

All I have to say is that I'm so thankful I got to see Bill play with the Stones on the SW Tour '89 (Sullivan Stadium, Foxboro, MA...17yrs. old at the time). Although the show was a little too polished...actually the whole tour was for that matter....I can say that I saw all five Stones play together. I'll never forget it. Unfortunately I kind of lost sight of the Stones when I

How the hell did Blondie get in the Stones picture anyway? I'm probably going to get ripped apart....but I can't stand the guy.

Can anyone recall seeing any of this happen either live, on video, or by word of mouth? If so, please share your story. I've never seen anything happen, I'm just curious. (If you recall something on video, what show? Might be worth checking out)

I just recently acquired the 11-9-81 show from Hartford, CT where they also played "Down the Road Apiece". It completely rocks....soundboard recording too! They only played that song five times on the tour, but I'm sure most of you already knew that. I'll be happy to share it via usendit if people are interested. Just give me a few learn how to use usendit and I'll po

I'm sure it's already been discussed in here on more than a few occassions, but can some of you elaborate on why they didn't do an ER tour. I've never heard any reasons why they didn't.

I was only 7 years old when ER was released. Still one of my favorite Stones albums....even though it gets bashed on a regular basis in here.

Or how about Cadillac using Led Zepplin's "Rock and Roll. That made me cringe. By the way, the Cars are awesome. A guilty pleasure indeed. I think Elliot Easton is one of the most underrated guitar players ever. That guy can play his ass off.

I was thinking about this driving home from work today: What if the Stones did guitar and drum solos during their shows. Would that not be the funniest thing ever!?!?!? Guitar solos and drum solos are such a waste of concert time. And to think, I used to look forward to guitar solos and whatnot back in my metal days (the 80's). Don't get me wrong, I still like the harder rock / met

I've recently converted my finished basement into a Rolling Stones / Rock & Roll haven (my wife took the rest of the house...lol). I have my entertainment center setup with Stones dvd's ready for viewing at any time. My guitars and amp set and ready to be fired up. Many 8X10 pics from my fav Stones tour...the N. American Tour '81. Some records framed on the wall. And my c

The only other piece of footage that I can think of that hasn't been mentioned yet is from Atlanta. Great show..IMO. Visual quality: B+/A- Sound: A- Forgive me for not elaborating on anything specific. I have it on VHS and haven't watched it in years. Might have to break out the old VCR and give it a whirl.

Personally, Keith could just play Little T&A and Happy every night for the rest of the tour and I'd be more than content. Maybe from time to time he could throw in You Got the Silver, Before They Make Me Run, All About You, or even Can't Be Seen. Oh...if Keith could only remember the lyrics of more than two songs.

Emotional Rescue is possibly my favorite Stones album. Either that or I've just been listening to it a lot lately. Hell, She's So Cold is one of the first songs I learned how to play on the guitar way back when. Gotta love those "Three Chord Wonders".

The '81-'82 tour is my favorite of all the Stones tours even though I know it doesn't rank that highly with many die hard Stones fans. I was only 8 years old in '81....but I still remember them coming to play Hartford, CT. I was listening on the radio. The reporter for the radio station that was doing the one song broadcast started going absolutely nuts....I'm mean thi

Can anyone suggest a site or two out there that have bit torrents available for download. It doesn't necessarily have to deal with the Stones exclusively like the Rocks Off bit torrent tracker. Just looking to broaden my music library on this PC. Thanks very much.
