As time provides more perspective..this album gets better. What is most disturbing to me is those outtakes and B-sides are stronger tunes than some that made it onto the CD.

Prince is one talented mofo... He's a bit of a media whore, but in a different vein than Madonna. That Musicology album was great. Haven't heard his new one at all. Gonna go listen to the bassless wonder "When Doves Cry" right now.

An Anthology from these guys? I wouldn't hold my breath, besides they have proven time and again that their memory is faulty...just compare the "According to" book with "Rolling with."

I may get flamed for this, but IMHO the most powerful version of Satisfaction is from Flashpoint...it announces that the Stones are back, and not to be triffled with!

First off, Baboon Bro thank you so much for the quick post, I remain impressed by The Rolling Stones fan community. I must appologize for any confusion my initial post caused. I should have been clearer, I was looking for the live version of this song. I really don't know if a recording of it has made the rounds. I love the studio version, it's like a slow burn. Jump On Top of Me from May -1995 in Amsterdam. I don't even know if there is a boot of this out there, I know they recorded these shows since some of them ended up on Stripped.

A timeless release. Was introduced to this in a History of American Music class in college (University for the European readers). Heard "So What" with Miles and Coltrane and headed straight to the store to buy the CD.
