The "Köchelverzeichnis" of the Stones´output. If I remember correctly, Dieter managed to give Keith one book of the first edition backstage in Cologne in 1992 before or after the Whinos´ show. I have all three editions and it was always worth the money. Unfortunately the solo output and other collaborations are equally listed. I´d prefer a Stones only release. Maybe one da

QuoteDandelionPowderman Compare the vocals to Old Habits Die Hard, especially the high notes. Sounds like the same era to me. posted on March 3rd: QuoteTooTough "Nobody´s Perfect" sounds like Mick´s songwriting around Alfie.

QuoteMathijs QuoteKRiffhard Could "Trouble's a coming" be an embryonic take of Crazy Mama? No, because its from 1978. Mathijs Yes, but you can hear similarities in some parts.

Prairie Love gets my BtB session vote. The Gun Face similarity is there (song and drumsound wise).

regarding Walk With Me Wendy My guess: The snare sound is pretty much Kingston 1972 or London 1973 for Goats Head Soup, with Mick Taylor and Nicky Hopkins.

QuoteBlueTurns2Grey 17- Part of the Night 19821111-1219 Pathe Marconi Studios, Paris The instrumental versions are Golden Caddy III and IV. There´s even one shorter vocal version V, similar to this new one. So this one is either Golden Caddy VI or the whole track history must be renamed Part Of The Night I - VI.

QuoteBlueTurns2Grey 23- Hands Off Get Your Hands Off - version III, more finished version (source unsure) 19930709-1211 Windmill Lane Recording & RW's House, Dublin In my archive (and on Voodoo Brew and D. Hoffmann´s recording index) the instrumental is named It´s Alright - lasting 4 minutes. So this one must be called It´s Alright II.

QuoteFour Stone Walls Mick still smoking in 89-90? Bill certainly was. I think he nicked it from Bill before. But where did he put it afterwards? Back in Bill´s mouth?

Quotedcba RE "Deep Love" I vs II and the bunch of 1997 tracks sung by Keith : as much as I like/love/adore Keef one has to admit the tracks really come to life when they're sung by Mick. In a way this 3-cd set is a testament to Mick as a singer : from the gentle seducive erotic voice on I've Got Dreams to Remember to the absolute beasty singing on "Strictly Memphis

Great to hear the Hot Stuff rehearsal part (at around the 7 min mark). I remember being in the DC hostel when someone came in and wanted to read the complete rehearsal setlist."No!" I left before he did. On August 1st the intro came and I didn´t even know which song they wanted to start with. Not Fade Away...I was totally bummed! Hot Stuff was only played at show #1,

Shortly before they enter the stage at Münchens Cirkus Krone, 14.9.1965. Surrounded by police Brian smokes, the sign on the wall reads: "Rauchen polizeilich verboten" (Smoking prohibited by the police) >< A true genius and part of the myth of this band.

QuoteDEmerson QuoteHairball I just read that the decent young band KALEO from Iceland who opened a couple of shows for the Stones in 2019 (I saw them at Pasadena and Glendale) have postponed their US tour again, pushing the dates to 2022. I saw the Glendale AZ show and really enjoyed Kaleo!

In, let´s say, 50 years everything will be down to "Satisfaction" from the "bad boys, compared to the Beatles". Unfortunately. Future generations will miss a lot.
