They are not human. What a weekend - visited the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio and saw the show in Nashville. They are incredible.

Quotepadre69 I'd like to see a Pittsburgh clip of GS, where Keith is seen playing that intro. For some reason he seems to be hidden during the opening riff. Wasn't there a speculation from the St.Louis gig that an extra guitar was heard in some song? Neither Ronnie or Keith was seen playing, but a guitar was audible. If it were any other band - any other band, I would say - yes som

QuoteElmo Lewis Got to see Dave and the VH boys open for the Stones in Orlando, 1981!And wasn't it a great show? I saw Van Halen open for the Stones in Orlando and in New Orleans in 78. Great times!

Brown Sugar opens with THE signature Open G signature riff by Keith Richards. It may be the "perfect" rock song. It is not a celebration of slavery - but it certainly depicts some of the horrors of that unfortunate institution. The Yeah, Yeah, Yeah - Wooh ending is custom made for stadium shows.I would hate if they drop one of rock's most famous songs.

QuoteRocktiludrop It's so strange to just see three Stones taking a bow, that really hit me. Totally agree - that shot got to me.

They should tour as long as they have the desire and the public provides the demand.

I'm three hours east of New Orleans in Pensacola, Florida. Stay safe New Orleans!

28 times I've seen the Stones and Mr. Watts was the very first Stone I actually saw. He mounted the drum kit in New Orleans, July 13, 1978. What a blast it's been! RIP Charlie.

July 13, 1978 was life changing. Van Halen, Doobie Brothers and the Rolling Stones in the middle of the Some Girls tour. To see a young Eddie Van Halen burn the place down was incredible. The Doobie Brothers were also great - but the Stones were just red hot. Surpassed all of my expectations.

I always feel very fortunate when the Van Halen / Rolling Stones stories circulate. I was at both tours the mighty Van Halen opened for our band - 78 in New Orleans and 81 in Orlando - (1st show.)

Saw Eddie open for the Stones in New Orleans in 78 and again in Orlando in 81. They opened their 1995 tour in my hometown of Pensacola Florida.

Sally came directly over my home. Glad to see it gone. Pensacola Florida is a mess and will be for a while. But it is humbling to see the workers and aid that are currently flowing into our city.

James James is a tremendous player. His is most prolific! And he also leads the league in Stones' shirts - even though he has only seen them once in concert. He does a great service for the average (me) guitarist.

the first time I heard the boot of Criss Cross I was pissed. My initial thought was damn - what a missed opportunity. I loved it then - love it now. Just a terrific song! I'm happy it finally has an official release.

I was concerned the minute Jagger kicked off the guitar part. In the past few tours he's played along with Keith, but historically that iconic opening is Keith's. I wanted to see him using a capo on the 8th fret - tuned to Open E. Open G on the fifth works as well - but it's not the original sound of the recording. But Mick sounded great and Woody was wonderful. Keith is a guitar i

I saw Taylor bring the house down in Philly in 2013 with Can't You Hear Me Knocking and Midnight Rambler. It was a true highlight of my 28 Rolling Stones' shows.

The article in the Denver Post is by far the worst review they've received on this current tour. "Mangled chords" have always been part of the Stones' live performances. I recall reading an article in 1975 that chided the band for lacking the precision of "modern day acts."

There is nothing pathetic about the mention of Mick Taylor on a Rolling Stones' chat board. He was an essential Stone during their most productive period. You can love Woody and Taylor - it's not a mutually exclusive thing.

I love Monkey Man - in Jacksonville Keith didn't even attempt the opening riff. Ronnie picks up the slight in the most discreet manner. I really thought Keith was in trouble. But he woke up and killed it the rest of the evening.

There is an undeniable power when they appear on the stage. It has a supernatural quality about it. They are stars - they know how to be stars - they've been rock gods for 50 years plus. One reviewer wrote - it's not about reliving past greatness - this IS greatness. This is no victory lap tour.

The Stones had 80,000 in 78 and 87,500 in 81. I was fortunate enough to be at both shows. I was also at New Orleans on this tour - it filled up quite nicely - a sell out? No - but it was a good crowd.

Keith sang great in Jacksonville - just could not have done better. His playing on Slipping Away was also superb. But he did jump the gun on Street Fighting Man and Honkey Tonk Woman. Are those sorts of things discussed in post show meetings or do they just brush it under the rug?
