So the low down on the Miss You 12" is that it clocks in at 7:31. The original is apparently over 8 minutes. ( I never clocked my mexican copy of that 12" on vinyl ) So is the one you find on the Don't Stop CD-single, that one is 8:35, I believe. I think it was cut because the whole CD is 79:35. The whole thing would not fit otherwise.

Kyriakos' point is quite obvious. If you live in Greece and you're just an average guy you're salary is a lot less then for comparable people in the other extreme which is probably Norway. A while ago I got myself this crappy album by Little Steven: Men without women. I used to have it in the 80s. Now I have it on CD. Musically speaking it's probably not revolutionary. But it's rather nice, actually. Another one in that category: the second Grand Funk Railroad. All not revolutionary, not dynamic, but good company when drinking a beer.

1981. Bought the "start me up" single. I was too young to go and see the 1982 tour. I was really jealous at those people who were at the show in Rotterdam. They were on the radio, talking about how excited they were. In the next four years I bought the albums. That was really exciting. Scraping together 12 dollars, ( 25 guilders ) , and getting an album.

They grabbed the tape. At two random places they cut it in two. Then they threw the middle part away and put the two ends together. It's a very rough edit, but hey, any second you get is still a nice second.
