Hi! Could you be as kind as others on this board and put it on usendit? That would be really cool.

Can't agree more with the positive vibe of this thread! That 'Hound dog' take on Handsome Girls is definitely one of the highpoints of all the Stones recordings.

Allright, ferrante, had you been positive about the Beatles, I could've dug that. But going live screaming that the Wings are more than crap is pathetic. Get Wings over america at some second hand shop for a few dimes. A bummer.

A 'slum' is a down trodden house, that can hardly be called a house at all. For instance, the 'slums' of a third world city. Am I right? So what is a 'slum song"? Anything else that can be 'slum'? A 'slum post', does that make any sense?

Pffff..... don't you have your own forum where you can discuss sweets, birds, flowers, Sgt. Pepper and harmony? With those first few words scrapped I completely agree with Meise

Is this one of the shows in which they have played CYMK? What's the final answer to that question. Did they ever play it in 1971?

Suggestion: try to be a little more friendly to other members of this board. If you want to convince them of something: they might listen to what you say if you are friendly and do not use harsh words.

@paulywaul I completely agree with you. To the others: Quit being so negative. I'm rather happy with the releases and I look forward to having a good audio version of "Through the lonely nights". If you don't want it, don't buy it. I spent a fortune on stones CDs cause I like the music. If you don't want to do this, don't do it.

Well, I think it's a decent collection and it makes me pretty happy. The Fancy Man blues and the Cook Cook Blues are not on it, but they have been released on CD ( on "Another side of steel wheels" ) and the choice of Wish I'd never met you is fantastic. I lost the terrifying single. Indeed the one killer track "Think I'm going mad" is missing. Hey, you can

I didn't save the HMV page but I now get the impression that something has changed. The price has dropped and the CD number has changed as well.

@Doug O That's a readers' comment on this release. He calls himself "Let it rock" and he says the release is no good. A track list is not available.

Somebody else was already posting about it. Now I get it, this thing must be the "starbucks" CD that was also posted about. >> from Billboard, July 29th, 2005: "In November, EMI will release a Stones rarities disc featuring B-sides and songs from albums that have gone in and out of print. The collection will be sold through traditional retail and Starbucks. The japa

Right, I've been going through this thread again with the many claims. Maverick says first that he works in the booking industry. Then on Aug 17 he says that he knows because a friend of his works in the booking industry. As for having heard ABB before it came out. He first claimed having a torrent with 20 tracks, then he claims having a promo CD with 11 tracks. Did any such promo e

Saw him twice in the late eighties in Amsterdam. Still one of my fondest concert memories. The guy was just sitting there behind his piano. Nothing else. Sitting there in a suit with a big colored necklace. He just played the piano. And everybody went wildly enthusiastic. I should buy some more of his CDs. If you have a chance to see him, it's great.

Yep, This was inevitable. You can wait for it to show up in CD stores here in Japan. It'll be labelled "Swingin' pig" or "Sister Morphine" or whatever. I think there is nothing much you can do about it. For the cover they'll probably steal great pics people on the forums here made. There's a lot of unpleasant people around in this world. And those guys p

Mick indeed wanted YaYa's to be double. He wanted the opening acts ( Ike & Tina turner I believe ) on the first CD. He says it's great stuff, and that he has pressings of the thing somewhere in his home. Never heard about the story "smith" writes. The reason YaYa's wasn't double was, according to Mick, that the record company felt the opening acts were too unknow

Try With the program there you can decode the FLAC files in WAV files. Afterwards you can burn the files easily. I used the tool with linux, but it should work for windows as well. Save the tools in the same directory as where you keep the FLAC files Then run "cmd". Go with "cd C:\directory\where\columbus\is" to that directory. And run something like "flac -d trk
