Hopefully they will put out a good record and that will help filling the stadiums, if not they might have a hard landing on this one...

I've read somewhere that almost the complete double live album from '72 was aired on an american radio station sometime during the fall of '72. Anyway, why is it called the Unreleased "DECCA"live album? Shouldn't it have been on "Rolling Stones Records"?

Wonder where the rest of the Houston shows are. Seems to me that the songs on L&G (-the movie) from Houston, are exellent performed. Would have been greate to hear the entire shows

Gibson Les Paul,Standard, sunburst 1972 reissue. For amp I use a Fender Twin Reverb with original '60s tecnology. "Wox" wah wah, and "Fulltone" distortion. -In my opinion a good way to get the sound of rock'n roll

Who knows what Mick or Keit thinks. Maybe thei're just not interested in the past. Perhaps nothing from the "golden" live period ever will get released

Dont't think this is a Taylor\Stones issue.Sometimes one can get the impression that the band didn't tour the whole '70's, (with the exeption of "Love you live"). Also in favor to Taylor, you can say that when the Stones is all history, and Jagger is the only one left, he's counting on the very best of the live material to keep the money rolling in...

Wonder how this was recorded. Anyone who knows? I assume it's a soundboard recording, but can it perhaps be something like the BBC-recordings from London and Brussel '73? In my opinion The Brussels\London shows were a dissapointment, after listening to the resent half hour of earing. -I mean, when it comes to the quality of the recording Anyway it would be fun if the quality of the two

Hei! Thank's for all the information. About the solo work, there is an album with John Phillips which came out in 2001,(I think), and it's based on Recording sessions where Jagger, Richards and Taylor attended. The sessions are supposed to be from the time after Taylor left the band...

Hei, sorry but I'm not sure. My guess would be that Decca also had a share of the rights because the songs were recorded during the '69 tour, and before the time of Rolling Stones Records(?)...

I don't see the problem in having two thoughts in the head at the same time. Neither did the Stones. After doing the "makeups" on the live album, they put out "Ladies" with no overdubs, and even strippt it down to a barely audiable horn section

Hei tatters!I've heard that the album wasn't released due to legal rights to a few songs that Decca could clame until 1976. Brown Sugar etc. Jagger tried to release the album in november '72 and a second time without the Stevie Wonder material just before the upcoming tour in 1975. Both times Allen Kline stopped it. The songs are supposed to be from Fort Worth, Huston, Philadelphia
