So is this the same mix on the Google Download? Trying to determine if it's worth buying the CD just to rip it in iTunes if I already have the Google version. And I know there is a separate thread on this, but on the LA Forum - did we ever figure out definitively if that is a different show than the google download?

Quote24FPS QuoteJimmy C It's perplexing that both shows are videotaped and only Hampton gets the Blu Ray treatment. And nothing touts how Hampton's Blu Ray has higher bit rate sound than the standard DVD. It's all so confusing even without the 11th or 12th questions. Well, they claim the 11th/12th/whatever was pro-shot, which should mean film. There would be no reason to

What's also interesting is no Blu Ray. Hampton was videotaped, so they are releasing it in what they call Standard Blu Ray, which really just means there's no visual difference between the DVD picture quality and the Blu Ray picture quality. But Blu Ray has far superior Audio capabilities. Does Hampton have a higher quality audio available and that's why they are putting out a

Always thought that lyric was beyond filthy, but the way he says that at the end and snickers - right up there with their most misogynistic lines of all time.

A definite contender for most cringe worthy music video of all time, it's even more goofy without the music. Very funny

I was fortunate enough to have a pit ticket last year in Chicago, got there very early, and was right behind the rail in front of Mick. You don't notice from far away, but I was a little taken aback at first just how much he is glancing down at the teleprompter. It was constant. And it was also obvious that many of the between song comments about Chicago were on there. I was a little bu

I really don't hear that much of a difference between this remastering and the remastering from the CD Box set from a few years ago, which I believe used the 1990 Remasters. They don't sound brick walled, but it's certainly not a revelatory difference to my ears.

Out of Control - Live remix. I've scoured the internets for this, anyone know where can a copy or just hear it? Is is THAT good? I remember hearing that song for the first time ever when they played it live and it was amazing.

I remember reading a story back in the 80s in a tabloid maybe that Frank and Mick were on the same elevator in a hotel, and Frank didn't acknowledge Mick at all. And when Mick left the elevator, he mockingly sang "he did it his way" or something to that effect. Can't find it online but I swear I read that somewhere years ago.

ZZ Top is fantastic live. Yes it's not longer than 90 minutes, yes their setlist is fairly static and they rarely break out super rare song. But they sound fantastic, Billy still has all his guitar playing chops, and the added bonus is just the cool way they intuitively swing back and forth in sync. Badass

I thought Joe Walsh looked great on the Beatles show the other night, but am I the only one who noticed that his vocals on While My Guitar Gently Weeps didn't always match up right? I can't imagine he lip-synced, maybe they fixed a bum note with an overdub?

On writing his memoirs "I think the rock 'n' roll memoir is a glutted market. I'd rather be doing something new. I'd rather be making new films, making new music, be touring. If someone wants to know what I did in 1965, they can look it up on Wikipedia without even spending any money."

That was a joke that Keith couldn't buy or listen to the UK single since he lives in the US. (You can't buy the UK single version if you live in the US on iTunes as iTunes basis what you can buy on where your iTunes account is registered) The point being, it does seem like an odd coincidence that Keith was clueless MT was even on the song, AND that the US single and album version al

I don't care if it's looped and spliced together, etc, - I like Doom and Gloom, but this song IS the best new release in 30 years for them, with the caveat being that I'm talking about the UK single version - which has MT's solos cranked up - vs. the US version which has them buried. Another example of how dysfunctional they are when it comes to what they release - I swear

Interesting sound, more bass, on this bootleg "remix" that's new on youtube but must be from 10 years ago since they are calling it the 30th Anniversary edition.

I've never seen this before, fascinating to see him play like this, even though it is very brief in the overall clip.

I was at both Tuesday and Friday. I thought Tuesday was fantastic, and I had nosebleed seats for it. Friday night I was in the Pit (which added a whole other dimension to the experience), and I agree that it surpassed Tuesday's great show with the songs you noted above. I just have to say how good they were both nights. Went back and listened to some of the sound board boots from 2006 t

I was right up in front. He did not look like he didn't know the song was over at all. He just kind of noodled a bit at the end, you could hear his guitar clearly up front so it didn't look like they cut him off or anything.

Does not matter what time you get in line. It is randomly pre-marked on the list they check you in with. I had a pair of $85 tickets and so did my 18 year old daughter for United Center Tuesday night. We were together when we picked up the tickets around 6:45. Her name was marked on the list, mine was not. She got a pair in the pit, I got a pair in Section 308, Row 15, on the far other si

I know this has been mentioned in an earlier post, but what has the recent experience been of those who have had VIP Pit tickets? In Chicago, early check in is 4:30-5:30. How much earlier have others been getting in line before that in order to get close to up front? Some make it sound like it's nearly empty when they open early entry to everyone, others make it sound like you should be o

Just went to the Ticketmaster site and reviewed my order. Now I have Section GA1, Row GA3, with actual seat numbers in the 30s But my Tongue Package Tickets Says Section PIT1, Row GA5, and then a seat number 1.

I have an actual Tongue Pit Package Ticket to the Chicago May 31st show and the ticket says PIT1. The two pairs I just bought for 5/28 say GA1. Really wonder if these are the same? Maybe PIT means since I bought the package I get in early to the PIT, and GA is still the pit?

Just got 2 pairs of $85 for Chicago on 5/28. My ticket says GA1 for the section. Sounds like others see seat numbers. Does that mean mine are in the Pit?

So the question is this: And I know this is crazy money, but am I better off locking in a Pit ticket right now on Ticketmaster which is available through the $1500 Tongue Pit Package, or take my chances trying to get one during the regular sale for $600?

Doesn't look like they have any of those same VIP Packages that they did in December. Is that because it's a different tour promoter? Didn't seem worth the extra money for the drinks or whatever extras you got but it did seem like an easier way to guarantee a Pit ticket if you were willing to cough up the extra money. Kind of surprised they aren't doing that again.

Sad to hear... Berry was asked to expand. "Well, I’ll give you a little piece of poetry," he said. "Give you a song? I can’t do that. My singing days have passed. My voice is gone. My throat is worn. And my lungs are going fast. I think that explains it." St. Louis Post-Dispatch writer Kevin C. Johnson argued that people still pay to see Berry monthly at St. Louis’

Not disagreeing with the complaints or arguments about why longtime fans do not want to go, but my point was more about how the ticket prices and all the anger behind it seem to be tainting a lot of people's views of their performance from that brief clip. I liked it, I like how they finally slowed JJF down to how it was on Ya's Ya's versus the way too fast versions of late. My
