1 Jumpin’ Jack Flash All down the line, sympathy, rambler (live, you pick ant Taylor era rendition) paint it black, moonlight mile. So many great ones but kept this to five with an alternate. Shattered would be my second alternate.

I agree! The three shows in Philly were great. I have yet to hear a better performance of All Down the Line. This live version on the Philly Special boot is one of my favorite live recordings of any Stones songs. Taylor’s slide work and solo are magnificent. Check it out when you can.

Jumpin’Jack Flash was last. No encore. The opening show of the 1981 tour at the same stadium may have been more rough. Second show on Saturday September 26 was much better. Thorogood was awesome and Journey played well and was well received the second day, not so much the first day.

Great tour even if the shows were a bit too polished and predictable. I was fortunate to see opening night in Philly and got to hear the abbreviated version of Shattered. Great set list and good long show with reasonable ticket prices. It was about the music not the spectacle that the band seems more concerned with now. Voodoo Lounge was better, better mixing with guitars higher in the mix

I was at this show where they recorded Dead Flowers in Philly. Even if it was one of my least favorite songs of the night, it was performed well and Brad provided an excellent solo.

Does anyone have a listing of what tracks were recorded live at what shows? Sorry if this has been asked and answered already. Some are obvious with the guests, some not so much. Thanks.

1989 versions for me. I was at opening night in Philly and after years of thinking they may never play again they stormed the stage with a wall of sound courtesy of Keith’s opening riff. 1981 version was good too. My opinion.

Street fighting man will come back into the set. The show in Dublin clocked in at just under two hours. The average length of their shows is usually about ten minutes longer. I think we will see at least SFM on most nights either as an add or replacement.

Any idea what follows the top 16 songs by the Stones from Spotify? Or where you can find the number of "listens". Curious as to what Spotify users deem as best or most popular Stones songs

They should have played this song in concert more often. So overlooked by the band for so long. They resurrected Moonlight Mile which was a noble attempt to recreate the original masterpiece (loved it but fell far short of studio without Buckmaster strings and Taylor's closing solo). No Expectations would be far easier and more satisfying. Missed opportunity to promote and enhance a true cl

Philly 1972. Great pace, great solo from Taylor. Absolutely stunning. One of my absolute favorites by the Stones and this version is one of the few that eclipsed the studio gem. Check it out on boot.

As stated by others, the Philly show on Tuesday, the last this time out, was awesome. To be fair to Axl, no one really compares to Brian regarding voice texture. Unfortunately, Brian's voice, perhaps along with his hearing, has not been holding up well. For the last two tours at least the shows were barely two hours in duration and usually 20 songs at most. Angus still rocked his solos fo

Sorry for your loss DP. Does anyone have the bonus cuts of either Beast of Burden, Bitch, All Down the Line, or even Happy they could share as a download. I think these cuts were posted when Sweet Summer Sun was originally released. Thanks much for any all help any of you can provide.

Far Away Eyes is the worst Stones song in the entire catalogue, in my opinion, although probably not shared by many here. I love So Young. Not sure it is a "side 2 opener" but light years ahead of Far Away Eyes. Miss You is better played live, especially during the time of 1978 where it was played fast and raunchy as it was in '81/'82. Versions since then make me want to g

Good points by many of you on this board. Consider this: The Stones put on two separate tours on two separate continents in 2014 with a total of 29 shows (actually three tours and three continents if you count the bifurcated tour of the Far East. 2015 was admittedly lighter, but the tour was in the middle of the calendar year. If they play 14 dates in South and Central America during the fi

Moonlight Mile may be one of their finest pieces of work and certainly one of the most unique. I wish they played it more in concert, but I think any live version (this year's attempt was good) cannot possibly eclipse or match the studio version. Without Mick Taylor and Paul Buckmaster's strings, not a chance in hell to matching the beauty of the studio original. What a masterpie

Buffalo ranks very high minus Ronnies botched solo on start me up. Pittsburgh was not as good as ranked. Set list was good but band performance was better in buffalo, at least that is my opinion having been at both.

Texas '78 version I really like. The best version may have been the aborted version in philly in '89. It sounded great until a generator blew and cut off the last ten seconds of the song. I was there that night but check out a boot to that show.

I would like to see them drop the following or at least not play every show and put into a "warhorse rotation" 1. Miss You- sick of this song but realize a lot of people like it. 2. It's only rock n'roll- Some nights it's good and others it's a train wreck 3. YCAGWYW- I think this will need to be kept unless you substitute another warhorse ballad like Wild Ho

Knowing they won't change the second half (although I would rather get Miss You over with in the first half or at least the first song after Keith's set. It would be cool to have Gimme Shelter follow Miss You or even Rambler.), I'll hope for some realistic modifications to the first half so here goes: 1. No more Doom And Gloom, replaced permanently by Out of Control 2. No Yo
