For the last twenty five years at least the stones have to carrie the myth they created. All their work is compared to the best they have done. And it is impossible to reach the level of the golden era. But if an album like a Bigger Bang was released by a recent band it would be considered an outstanding album. Is a really good record.

For me Keith Richards will always be the riff master. He create so many and with such quality that will be impossible to come close. For me, one guitarrist that some how has a similar inspiration is Jack White. A few songs of The White Stripes have riffs that could have be done by Keef. What do you think? Icky Thump is for me a good example or the second song of the album.

Although there are some very good shows of the stones after 1990 I think this is the last tour with good music quality, wiht Keith in great shape. Since then I think is more Mick Jagger who give great perfomances.
