Already four times (London 1 & 2, Southampton and now reportedly Coventry). Not sure about Dublin. But it was the same at all three shows I attended. So i am right then, its intended. Does this mean i'm not stupi

Quotekeithsman Quotesjs12 That's absolute rubbish. Why would Mick keep her if he didn't think she was any good? Surely the stones could have any singer they want? Why would they choose and then keep one who they don't like. Sorry, but sometimes people say the most stupid things on this forum and this is a prime example. Oh so you think the engineers turned her down three shows i

QuoteCristiano Radtke For those interested, here's a video with the whole concert (sorry if it was already posted): Scroll through to 1.15 on this video halfway through midnight rambler. Watch Keith entice Mick into singing a phrase from come on into my kitchen. Then look at the smile on Keith's face. That is a magic moment.

QuoteKet Really great show. MR just keeps getting better and I really liked Ride em on down which I had not heard live before. I was wondering if other people thought the Coventry show was louder than normal? My ears are still ringing even though my seat was pretty far back of the stadium, yet at London 2 i was very close to the main PA and my ears did not ring at all. Yes, this show reall

I'll also add that Sasha was almost inaudible on GS solo yet again. SORT IT OUT! (Not you lot, the sound crew...)

Just back from Coventry and I'm home in Southampton now. First impressions: Wow that was a great and LOUD show. We drew nosebleeds in the LD but that was fine as I had my 13 year old daughter with me. I wish I'd brought some earplugs for her though. I can't remember a stones show that was this loud! I think it has to do with the relatively small venue with a very large r

QuoteHairball Quotebv Some see errors. Others see a great great band and a great great performance. And some see both. While the clip I watched of SMU sounded like there was a screw up, I did go on to say that once Mick sang his first "Start Me Up!" everything seemed to fall into place. Haven't had time to watch other videos of SMU yet, but evidently there's one wh

QuoteTekumseh Me and my girl got only GA in Lucky Dip London 2. From the beginning we ordered good seats, but when the LD came out at that price we bought them too. We ended up at our seats and throwed the GA tickets away. The thing with Lucky Dips is that they are half the price of the cheapest "regular" ticket for the show (£60 for two lucky dips vs. £60 per seat at the very back o

There were a few errors in the set if you want to be picky. Most didn't notice the SMU error over the screaming. I did, but I didn't when I was at both Hyde Park shows. I did think Keith was laughing at his own error! On the positive side, Keith played really well in general. Listen to some of his SFTD and HTW solos from 2017 and you wonder if he even knew what key the song was i

QuoteRiffKichards I am just back home from Southampton. It was a great show. They were in top form. Really. I have loved Sweet Virginia and Keith’s set. Keith was brilliant and he made a great solo on HTW (usually, this solo is ´weird’). One regret, Mick seemed to have problems with his voice after Paint It Black. It was ok because he managed the situation very well, but I feel he tried

At one point Mick said something along the lines of "so there are both skates and scummers in the stadium tonight" making reference to Southampton and Portsmouth nicknames for each other.

I just got back from the gig. I can’t count the songs or say what was played. However, I hope I can come up with some memories of tonight. First of all, I have to say that this was a special show for me. It was the Stones in my home town. A first ever! I spent the day getting ready and then went to the pub. What else? On getting to the stadium we went through security very quickly. May

QuoteDeanGoodman Here's how to get your hands on an exclusive Rolling Stones poster (i.e. included in today's Daily Echo) Its a great design but unfortunately just printed on the middle pages of the newspaper so poor quality. I might look into getting a proper printed version on quality paper.
