Quotelegin For me it's always been Memory Motel and Winter ! Memory Hotel ... Euphoric??? It is their farewell song to Mick Taylor. First part of B'nB simply is them showing they can make it without him.

Quotegeorgie48 QuoteMingSubu Quoteloog droog Quotepftw04 After death of Brian, came the killer guitarist Mick Taylor, who has transformed the STONES to different level. Methinks the Stones were already at that different level beginning with Jumpin' Jack Flash, then Beggars Banquet and the bulk of Let It Bleed recorded even before Taylor came on board, I like Mick Taylor, but he wa

Anyone on @#$%& before. To me it sounds like they have remixed on the censored version removing the censorship and as far as I remember that was originally a different version before the censor mix set in. Or is it just my mind and memory (I have lost my original original - it was worn out) that are puzzling me?

I am looking for something specific. In the original review from 1978 NME by Charles Shaar Murray he changed "Black girls just wanna get @#$%& all night I just don't have that much jam" to "Black girls just wanna get @#$%& all night but they rarely get the chance" But I remember that either in a comment in NME or some other reviewer (Billboard, Rolling Stone as th

Where did Midnight Rambler come from? I don't know. It was the old days trying to knock you on the back of the head. "Hey, don't forget us, pal. Write a damn good blues. Write one that takes the form

My best guess is that they will either have to reduce prices a lot, or more likely give away a lot of tickets to get people in there. And if not... well Parken with people can be great, without it will not be pleasant.

It is a difficult list. Some songs has been released (Leather Jacket - that both were released and turned up as Hand of Fate), others in a different relation (Act together) etc. And then the much more secret that really are missing.

QuoteGravityBoy I must watch the Godard film again. I can't remember Keith doing the solo in it. And to be fair, it's not "usual Keith" and does have a touch of the Jimmy Pages about it. He does, and another thing worth to notice: Brian Jones comes up with the hammer on that later became very evident in the Ya-ya version.

Never ever bought a guitar like that. I go into shops, fool around on what ever is there, and when I find one that I can make sound great and make my fingers move with ease I buy. Next thing at home I measure the string gauge so I later know what the guitar was born with. Not always I keep that but I use it as a reference point. And I never let a guitar go...

Quotekleermaker The most grooving version is this one (who cares about the 'off tune' Taylor-guitar except mr. Ears himself aka Mathijs): This is for sure a great version. But I must admit that I also like the version Leon Russel did at the concert for Bangladesh. to me it sounds like George Harrison did a lot of arrangement for that performance when you compare with LR's

Quote24FPS If you have the DVD boots with the NME appearances, mingled with the Ed Sullivan ones, you can watch him go from confident, exuberant entertainer, fade into the background, and re-emerge confident again as a 'colourist. It looks like he was fine on stage at the '68 NME from photos, although we have no idea what he contributed musically. And then the almost agonizingly sad cra
