I am sorry that I don´t have the time to translate the whole review, but I can give you some highlights. • The album title is true. The band has made their biggest bang in years. • No album since Some Girls has given so many songs that could easily get into the bands set lists. • The production-team, Jagger/Richards/Was, has made a “good and conservative job”. • Bakke is very impresse

A Bigger Bang gets a very good review in Aftenposten, an Norwegian serious newspaper. The reviewer, Asbjørn Bakke, is a veteran in Norwegian rock journalism, but always very updated. Bakke is very impressed by the Rolling Stones`new record.

Thank you for postitng this nice little interview! When asked about what is the all time greatest Rolling Stones song he says something like - right now I think it is "This place is empty", then he points towards Gimme Shelter and Jumpin´Jack Flash... Sounds like Mr. Richards has created another classic. Cheers, Gunnar

Hi! I know there´s a lot of guitarfreaks on this board. If you use the link below you fill find an interesting article on Bob Dylan´s acoustic guitars. I would like to read such an article on the acoustic guitars of the Rolling Stones. Please, tell me if you know of any. Cheers, Gunnar

Listening to AccuRadio Twang on the Internett I just heard a countryversion of Sway from Sticky Fingers. It is performed by Alejandro Escovedo and stems from his album More Miles Than Money: Live 1994-96. It is a nice one. Recommended. Cheers, Gunnar

Sure enough, Erikjjf. But I also reckon the loose naming of the tour, Onstage, as a sign that there´s still a lot of work to be done on both the album and the tour. To me, this can be a very good thing. They have to rush things a bit and maybe even work on the edge for a while. Hopefully this spurs their creativity. I remember Keith Richards once said something about how the deadline of the fortc

A question to my fellow Stones-fans: Did the Rolling Stones ever before announced a major tour, permformed a new song live at the press conference and still had work left to do on the upcoming album? These facts alone (and the groovy kick of "Oh, No, Not You Again") spurs the excitement of the fans, but it also must put a lot of pressure on the band. There´s not much room for delays

While waiting for a new Stones album, I would recommend an Intenet radio station for my fellow Stones-fans: AccuRadio - Screamin´and Hollerin´. There´s a wide range of classic bluesstuff and luckily there´s no nonsense commercials. I connected to the station through my Windows media Player, but I also think it is possible to connect directly to AccuRadio.com. Minutes ago they played Bo Diddley (C

Yeah, thanks BV, for your huge ability and willingness to share important news on the Rolling Stones. Don´t be discouraged or too annoyed by the gossip and rubbish that is written. Your site and writings are essential to Stones-fans! Thank You! Cheers, Gunnar

It is a really good feeling to have both a new record and a tour by the Rolling Stones to look forward to. It´s unbelievable and I am very thankful to be able to experience it again. Charlie´s illness of last year and Ronnie´s reported drinking problems have not stopped the band from creating. Bless them all! Personally, I have the greatest expectations for the new album. I really long for so

Sounds like a great ticket! I really like Mellencamp from Scarecrow and onwards. For the last 20 years I think he has made good records. He has developed his songwriting skills through the years. What strikes me the most, is his ability to put different musicians together and always come up with some of the best American rock&roll. His guitarplayers are always tremendous and they all seem to

Thanks, Chelsea Drugstore. I must admit that I have always underestimated the musicianship of Bill Wyman and his part of the unique Stones-groove. Now I miss him. Cheers, Gunnar

It is always weird to see my fellow Stones-fans bash other excellent artists... I really look forward to another stripped-down Bruce record. He is an excellent songwriter and performer. He is also very, very good without the E-Street Band. The Ghost of Tom Joad brought at least two new classic songs to the great American songbook: the title track and Across the Border. This time Springsteend pl

Thank you, guys! All your knowledge is so much appreciated. I will definetly look for the 3.53 version on Virgin/Sony when I am buying the CD. One more question to my fellow Stones fans: Is Undercover the only time LP and MC versions of an official Stones release differs? Cheers, Gunnar
