From the pages of IORR & www.toru.com for North America: SW - ~50 dates in venues at least 30,000 (most much larger) VL - >50 dates in venues at least 30,000 (most much larger) B2B - 39 or 43 dates in venues at least 30,000 (most much larger) The above 3 were predominantly big stadiums, and they swung back thru in '99 for No Security arena tour. 40L - 12 dates in venues at leas

Bjornulf, I have to disagree that 1.5 million isn't a lot. That's over 16 Wembley Stadiums, not to mention an open area doesn't have the luxury of stacking people on different levels, like in a stadium (I guess some people will be hanging out of windows, sitting on rooftops, and listening from boats). It's been 10 years since I was in Rio, but it doesn't even seem t

You're probably right. Bummer; if I make the trip, it would be nice to see two shows.

Anyone have an idea on the (un)certainty of the the 2nd San Juan show?

I believe nonervous has it right, although cheap is relative. 55 euros is cheap compared to many other countries, but it's still not cheap.

Worst song ever recorded by the Stones, or at least in the top 5 for sure!

First, Mathijs, piss off! Overall, the setlists are great. When there are that many songs to choose from, you're not going to get everything you want. Some of you act like you're going to all the shows and are getting tired of hearing the same songs over-and-over. If I saw the boys once or twice a tour, like most of you, I'd want at least 75% to be the tried and true classics

Keith's numbers are there to give Mick a break, and give the fans an easy decision when to go to the loo. As for me, I'd just as well hear Happy and You Got the Silver. Infamy was OK the 1st few times, but The Worst sux.

Salar, I'm with you; except for Hot Stuff, which may go down as the worst Stones' song ever, it's a good album. Hand of Fate, Crazy Mama are my faves off of it, but the others are good, too!

jaggerlips, sorry you feel that way. i have always found this site to be the most consistent source of Stones' information over the years. i don't much of the bashing that you mention, and if you say it's all good, then you're too easy to please.

Rockingfan & Reptile, You really don't want to see any video downloads. If you're big Stones' fans, it would just be painful like listening to Hot Stuff or something.

It wasn't so much screwing up the song, it was that the sound quality on the feed was absolutely terrible! I kept waiting for someone to 'push the plug in the rest of the way', but it never happened. Too bad, but then again, I think the AMA audience is mainly the 50-Cent crowd.

34 is the same as me, as was the year; 1981, Houston Astrodome. See you in Memphis! I did run into a gal in Jan, 2003 who was on her 96th or 98th show, and had put together some book. I guess she's up to at least 115 by now.

Stonestom, Just never made it happen. Airfare, schedule, if I can get 1 or both of my fellow Stones fans to go, and whether I'm pushing my luck w/ the wife. Saturday shows are best for the quickies so I can do it w/ out missing any work. Two shows in the same town or close together can influence it, too. I have liked the east coast cuz there are a lot of big fans out there, but just n

No, they like to tour, although the money helps, and you'd think they do need it based on the out of control ticket prices. Then again, maybe part of the reasoning for the high ticket prices is to make it less attractive to scalpers.

I don't think too many people go for new songs. Being a veteran of quite a few Stones' shows, I'd say that 40 Licks actually seemed to be a bigger draw than Bridges/No Security. I measure that on the ease of buying tickets in front of the venues. I think they need to pick the stadium show sites in good R&R cities that will draw big crowds (ex. Chicago, London) and stick to a
