I believe Roger Waters lives north of Romsey and the bass player for Dire Straits lived in Beaulieu, both in Hampshire. In the late 70s Cliff Richard lived in Exbury but whether he bought a house or rented it I don't know.

It was some where behind Dan Square near a post office, I remember going to the Doors cafe for a drink after buying my Haag ticket for September (the wettest show ever). I thought they would be relieved that An American Prayer had just been released on CD as they couldn't have had much music to play (about 8 CDs worth). Don't remember them playing the Doors though.

The original CD release was superceded a few years later by versions with Digitally Remastered printed on the cover. So 1986 and then around 1990 before the 2002 version. This is why The Rolling Stones first album was available on CD before it became Englands Newest Hit Makers.
