There was an item in a magazine I read that said songs in the film included Rooster and another 3 or 4 titles I cannot remember but none were J/R songs and you would expect Satis, Ruby etc t oappear. May be they do or has the curse of Klein struck again?

Each disc is a sale so Zeppelin out sold 4 Flicks, so why did the live Licks CD do so badly then? The vaults contain material the artist considered not up to standard so that is the reason for it staying there. Further to whats been posted before on this I notice that the Zeppelin How The West Was Won set managed number 5 in the UK chart and 7 weeks, BtB managed number 6 and 6 weeks. Didn't exactly fly out the stores. This online ordering of the shows is interesting but they had the opportunity to do it before and didn't. They still put on a good show and you get to travel and meet people. I couldn't go to a place and spend a week sat around on the beach. I go on holiday when the Stones tour, meet old friends and have a good time. This time I've been out of work a couple of years so I can't afford to do any shows but I'll make it some how.

The Paris shows were all good (Olmypia was excellant). I've never seen a bad Stones show (except the second night in Paris 1990 but this was due to a bad seat at the back of the stadium) but some are better than others. You pay your money and take your chances, a bit like going to a football match because you don't quite know what is going to happen.

There is a rumour of a US only compilation, mentioned in Record Collector a couple of months ago. However the Stones would not sanction an ABKCO release against new product. I would dearly love to see a well planned opening of the vaults but I feel it won't happen or will be badly done.

I'd guess a BBC release but I think they won't bother and it'll be down to who ever takes over the corporation when they're all dead. Their record sales have never been that great so don't expect expensive or expansive packages because no one wants to wait years to make their money back and go in to profit.

No way, by the time you take out the repitition and all the studio chatter and created a commercially viable package it would be three discs max. If they couldn't celebrate the release of Sticky, Exile etc they're hardly going to bother with an also ran.
