Marlon Brando stopped acting as much before he was 60 years old. The Stones bread and butter is touring and album catalog sales. their last album they tried the record a vintage Stones album which proves the can't do anything really new. Like Brando said "an actor only haves so many faces in his pockets". Some people liked A Bigger Bang, as I fan I did as well, however is not &q

It's all over the net... Wating on a friend is easy listening... so is Sliping away and How can i stop... I would love to hear this music... why not... better than the stones doing a record like A Bigger Bang where they sadly ripped themselves with their own material... this could be great and the fact that keith can't play anymore makes a lot of sense.

The Paris shows were inspiring. It was so good that you can hear the whole show on Love You Live... the sad part about this is that it took keith's sons death to inspire this shows. His playing is incredible. I also think the back up musicians Oli Brown and B Preston were really wasted and their playing didn't really do the band any good. Although The El Mocambo gigs produced incre

Oh my God... When has he held the band with his playing? If his playing were better Keith just might do what he does best, which is play the groove, instead pf playin the Chuck Berry licks on every solo. Remember this band is composed of more than two members. 23 years of marriage for a Rolling Stone is not bad. I can't imagine Jo putting up with him, am sure Woody also wondered for all

* Young/Young the best two guitar attack ever. * Weir/Garcia A lot respect here. Two different sounds. Weir amazing Rythm Player. * Taylor/Richards Incredible chemistry. * Petty/Campbell Very underated guitar team. * Lennon/Harrison Too bad I didn't get to listen these two in a good hall, with a good PA. * Allman Bros guitar section. * Hammett/Hetsfield yes they are good

I saw Merl live at the Chestnut Cabaret in Philadelphia, probably in 1991 or 1992. Great show. I remember him passing out these eggs filled with sand so everybody could play with him. Great vibes and what great keyboard sound. If you haven't heard the album Fire Up with Jerry garcia find it ASAP. peace

Again please stop comparing tours... 78 and 81 tours were in the punk and discos eras... I take those tours any day. Ian Stewart was playing piano... just a sax o yes ian Mclagan was back there too, and we had Bill playin bass. Now you have twice the size of musicians... The groove of bill and Charlie was awesome in those years...the sound of this movie its pretty bad, but it doesnt mean t

Andres Segovia played till he was 88 sure...Chuck berry plays once a week in St loui, Les Paul plays on mondays in New york...but where? Clubs and bars... Segovia was not a rock n roller dude... and he didnt have problems with his hands and had his brain pretty much drained by the hard living of the road. I love Keith, his playing and his heart. But playing the same solos on every song its prett

Jesus !! I've heard about this Mick Taylor ghost for a long time now... we even thought he was gonna show up in London on one of the theater shows on the licks tour. Why keep dreaming? he is been gone for 33 years... What about that old rythm section? I want that too to come back - I miss that dirty old man on bass, the band doesn't swing like it once did. It's all about

953. Re: Tour
I am not a Doctor. I love this guy since 1988. I am guitar player heavy influenced by not only his playing but his heart. I understand Keith's desire of doing this till he drops but I'll say this. I just watched Shine A Light full volume. He can't play anymore. It's sad for me to watch and listen. I don't understand why he tries to solo so much now that he is suffereing f
