Maybe they just were a little bit wiser and could analyze the consequences better in their 50's than in their 30's...

QuoteSomeGuy I wouldn't say Led Zeppelin peaked in the very early 70s only. Also, the comparison with The Beatles eludes me, to be honest. Well, Led Zeppelin delivered many good songs later but I think some kind of decline started after their fourth album. The Beatles peaked in the 70's? John Lennon's two albums 1970 and 1971 were fantastic, the rest I would say were downhill.

1. Exile On Main St 2. Let It Bleed 3. Sticky Fingers 4. Beggars Banquet Exile isn't just about the songs. It's about the album's entirity, even if it's a mix of different genres. And of course the albums atmosphere which is fantastic.

QuoteDoxa Nice photos, thank you for sharing them! Sometimes it feels a bit absurd to think what Mick Jagger still does. Training like an athlete to keep his body in condition to accomplish its task on stage. A 75 years old guy! I mean, all 'real' athletes and dancers, and whoever who based their career on physical condition, would have had retired decades earlier, but this guy just

The "three-drummer-line-up" is fantastic. But the three drummers aren't drumming all the time, two of them play even keyboard. If you got the opportunity too see them, go! But don't try to take any photos during the show, even Robert Fripp are keeping an eye out over the audience. I have seen people been thrown out from the venue!

Corrcet me if I'm wrong but: You don't know anything about the ticket prices (at least from official sources rollingstones.com or ticketmaster.com) until you have to pick your tickets. And you have to make your decision immediateley. Is that really okay? (And that's not specific for the Rolling Stones).

YOu can move around and you will be able to test various positions Yes, seeing Charlie from the front row is not gu

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteThommie QuoteDandelionPowderman It's a way of playing the blues, not a unique riff - just like a guitar boogie. John Lee Hooker has several songs with this motif as well - way before Slim. John Lee should have been sued for ripping off his own songs!!! Because? (or did I miss the joke? ) Sort of, Dan.

The horns are great even if they sound more overdubbed than necessary. One of the absolutely greatest songs they've done. I would love to hear it nailed live like the studio version.
