I NEVER play Black and Blue and Bigger Bang is heading the same way. Ik like Steel Wheels of the newer stuff. Driving in my car to work in hectic jakarta gives me lots of opportunity to listen to whole albums, and these are basically Get Your Ya-Yas Out, Sticky Fingers, Let It Bleed lately, as well as Shine a Light

I was at the RAI concert in 1970, and sure enough Buddy Guy and Junior Wells got booed by the crowd and were otherwise overstemmed by 'we want the stones' chants. I remember the presenter begging the audience for a bit more appreciation of these blues men.

I came across a recording of a Byrds concert in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam in the Netherlands, 07-07-70. I have seen them during Holland Pop Festival and later in the Concertgebouw, but I am not sure when. Is there anyone who can confirm how often the Byrds played in the Concertgebouw, when, and what the support acts were? I have some vague memory of Clarence White and the Kentucky Colonels a

Always loved the Bo beat, especially with the Stones and the Pretty Things. Glad I have been able to see his last 2 concerts in Holland. He is a giant and will be missed!

I listened to Liver Than You'll Ever Be as soon as it came out, and then saw them live for the first time in October 1970. GYYO absolutely captures the Stones as they played live in that particular period. At their best in my view. Indeed, the feel of the tour was captured alright, and that's all that matters.

The more often i see BB, the more i am getting annoyed with the poor lip-synch, and i see that in most of the songs now. If that indeed are all overdubs, they shouldnt have bothered with a DVD, a CD would have just been fine

I have seen them in Nijmegen and was at the fence of the b-stage .. overall Keith looked very sub-dued and distanced, not only regarding his playing .. i didnt matter he lost the posing a bit but he looked sick and came across as someone on serious medication .. hope i am mistaken though

... 25.000 (no more in Nijmegen) ... As far as I could see the place was PACKED, and according to security there were another 5000 looking over the fence, so .. what is all this crap about poor sales?
