The interview with Lindsay Vonn after winning the womens downhill was beautiful. So emotional, but still saying what she wanted to say. I love seeing the people get overcome with joy. Last night was great watching the snowboarders. I am a teacher of little kids and am doing a large theme on the Olympics. The kids just exploded with oohs and aahs over the things that Shawn White did. Just

I have thanked god many times for the Rolling Stones. Especially when their songs help me through some tough times. So I guess that is kind of praying for them. At least it should give them brownie points for when they meet the big guy (or gal). Even though I do not believe in brownie points (except if you really like brownies- then ya, pass one over). Oh yeah, I also thank god for them afte

On Yahoo.com, they have a link to many organizations that you can donate. And, when you look at them, there is a link that gives a report on where the money will go and what their balance sheets look like and so on -this is by an independent organization (supposidly). The people there are in such poverty before this. A unbelievable tragedy. My heart goes out to them (and a few bucks).

It was a great ride. And, a long ride! But, until they all say never, I will always put out hope while Mick and Keith are alive. If they quit today, I would like to say to them: THANK YOU for the good times!!!

Silver Bells by Diana Ross and the Supremes is my favorite Christmas song. I know this will sound strange, but I also like Willie Nelson's 'Pretty Paper' album. The Beach Boys Christmas Album is my second favorite though.

I am an elementary school teacher (teach 6-7 yr olds to read). You only get two days off a year. I cannot complain since I get 10 weeks off for summer along with generous times off during Christmas, U.S.A. Thanksgiving and Easter. So, I will travel during the summer, weekends for west coast/vegas shows. Other than that, I cannot go to any other shows- job does come first! One good summer t

This was my first Stones concert. I think it was J.J.Flash, he climbed and ran around the stadium on the top deck(front row of third deck). The song lasted so long, Keith took a seat as they played. Now, I have to admit that I did a lot of drugs since then (lucky I slowed down after 25 and stopped soon after, well atleast 'major stuff'), so my memory could be a bit sketchy.

QuoteLukester 2010? I think that's the year I was going to start drinking light beer....or was it light cigarettes? I was going to start doing something light for health reasons....light salad dressing? No, it was definitely light beer. I'll be drinking light beer next year. Now that is some crazy thinking! Light beer- come on. Switching to Whiskey makes more sense to me.

My plans in 2010 is to be where BV is as much as possible- EXCEPT A-ha; though I do like Oslo. I forgot, I might be at A-ha if they open for the Stones.

I remember him a great deal as a child in the 60's. The 'variety' show was always on and he was on them a great deal. Bringing smiles to peoples faces is a great thing- thanks Soupy!

My dad use to joke that he bought Jerry Garcia a mercedes benz with all of the concerts my brother and myself went to. My parents left me a few coins, and I like to spend it on things they would approve. They loved travel. During there last 10 years I went on several trips with them; very fond memories. Things are things- need to pay the mortgage and food. But, travel and concerts keep my

1)Gimme Shelter Tie- Rocks Off 3)Sympathy for the Devil I love the rocking of Rocks Off (free's my mind), but the feeling of Gimme Shelter is emotional (makes me think). I guess that would make it a great one, two punch for me.

I keep on trying to play 'Keith'. I try to be realistic. I put a bottle of Jack Daniels on my counter, start taking a few swigs off it. The next thing you know, I wake up on the living room floor. I guess I cannot pretend to be Keith!

I have seen bob dylan over 20 times; and with the Grateful Dead, Tom Petty and The Band. He almost always played guitar. But, this tour is a totally different Dylan! I love it because he only played one song on guitar. It is incredible to see him on keyboards and him orchestrating his band. Plus, when he gets up in front with his harmonica and he grooves to the music, it is awesome. S

92% is not having problems paying their mortgage. Well, 20% owe more than their home is worth- if that is not a problem, I do not know what is. A bit more of a drop in housing prices could cause a total collapse (30% or 40% owe more and walk away). More and more are bailing from their homes now, Then what? Housing will totally collapse. If you go to Scandinavia,They seem to be doing well.
