I've never been satisfied with the sound quality of any Hampton boot, so I'm very excited with this release.

QuoteWhale So what's that talk about a "Wembley Whammer"? Am I missing something here? I think that was Tounge and Lips response to a tweet from a follower. RollingStones: Charlie Watts has been an official member of the Rolling Stones for 49 years. Let's hear it for the heartbeat of the Rolling Stones! AdrianLuscombe: @RollingStones All hail the Wembley Whammer

QuoteErik_Snow Absolutely not those 2; unless you mean "the 2nd Hampton show". Because those 2 shows make a LOT more sense for Rolling Stones to give to Eagle Vision, as a part of their contract with them. No sense in releasing audio of only of something which is filmed in such a great way. Yeah, that makes sense. A few people have mentioned that before and it's a good argument.

I really can't believe it, but this is one of my favorites on the new release. I totally understand why others hate it and I'm kinda surprised that I don't feel the same. But for some reason I totally dig it. Of all the new songs it's got the most plays on my iPod.

Quotemtaylor McCartney commented: "When we make mistakes playing live, we always now turn it and say, ‘Tell you what – this proves we are live'." Didn't he use a ton of auto-tune on his last live album? I also don't understand why people who don't like U2 get so bent out of shape with them having musicians under the stage. If you don't like the band and the

QuoteWilliamPatrickMaynard A standalone CD release is out of the question, but making it part of the Google Music and archives website store releases makes perfect sense from that perspective. Except that it was reported in Billboard that "Google Music will offer six never before released concerts by the Rolling Stones." Since they just released Ft. Worth I would think that rules it

QuoteTate I bought/ downloaded the show from Google Music. Is there any way I can save the songs on my computer and burn them on cd? I can't figure this out. They won't drag onto my desktop like iTunes files do. Put the mouse arrow over one of the tracks. You'll see an arrow appear to the right of the track name. Click on it and you'll get a list of options. Near the bott

Quotepaulywaul I don't think I'm alone here in wanting to understand how to DOWNLOAD this stuff for OFFLINE use. You're not. I didn't find downloading very intuitive. There's an arrow head next to the song titles. If you click it it will give you a list of options, downloading to your computer being one near the bottom. You can also download Google Music Manager a

Am I missing something? Can you download the show? It seems to me after you pay $4.99 you can only listen to the show on your internet connected computer and/or phone. There's no way to actually download the songs onto an iPod or burn a CD. Unless, like I said, I'm missing something.

Quotecrumbling_mice Please share the secrets of how you get the tickets! For my Enmore ticket I joined the RS.com fan club. That allowed early access to tickets. And if I remember correctly the on-sale date and time for the club shows was never announced - you had to wait it out and hope to get lucky. So I left and browser window open on my computer 24/7. Every time I walked by I would hit refr

Well thank heavens for this thread. Like a total idiot I was enjoying the 81 tour. What a fool I've been. Thank you for opening my eyes. The 81 tour is crap and I'll be throwing away all my boots from it now. I can't believe I've been so stupid. Now, since you are so smart, please tell me who's better: Wood or Taylor. That way I'll know what to listen to and enjoy

QuoteBeauforde Facts: Though NPR doesn't receive direct federal funding for operations, NPR does end up with federal funding in an indirect sense - from program fees and station dues from "member stations". Nearly 25% of the almost 1/2 Billion US$ that the CPB gets from the US taxpayer goes to NPR "member stations". They, in turn, funnel this money back to NPR as program

QuoteBeauforde God, I'm actually shocked at your ignorance of the facts. Really? You do understand that "local stations" aren't NPR, right? The only point I was trying to make is that NPR doesn't run on taxpayer money. They aren't on the public trough, as you put it. As for the parent company, CPB, sure, they got $422 million in 2010. And almost 70% of that mon

QuoteBeauforde Exactly. Juan Williams, liberal talking head, is fired by NPR for comments condsidered not politically correct...I get that left-wing propaganda organization's programming shoved down my throat on AFN 24 hours a day and I am often disappointed at how biased, intellectually dishonest, and Liberal-skewered their coverage, perspective, and opinions are. There is so little balance
