QuoteIrelandCalling4 QuoteHairball QuoteIrelandCalling4 Is Dogshit really 1982? Sounds like DW era. Either way, great stuff indeed. I'm not a boot expert, and not sure how accurate this info. is, but found this on bootlegpedia.com regarding two versions: One from France, 1982, and another version from New York, 1983. Someone else here can probably confirm accuracy. Thanks for

QuoteKRiffhard What about Trouble's a Coming??! On which sessions they recorded it? This is almost the exact same song as "Break Away" from the Emotional Rescue sessions. Most likely a different take but if you listen to the muffled vocals on this version you can make out Mick singing "Trouble's A Coming."

Quotemike567 QuoteJordyLicks96 20 Nil (Voodoo Lounge Sessions? 1993) this one sounds very much like an early version of low down (I think also to gotdablouse, if we meant the same song). So I would think it is coming from the B2B sessions...(it sounds that way, or maybe I'm just tricked into thinking it sounds that way, and the embryonic version of low down comes from vl) Yeah, I can

Quotedandelion1967 Quoteretired_dog QuoteJordyLicks96 Ahhh!! Thank you soooo much!! Listening now, trying to figure out what time period these songs come from as the dates listed on the album art seem to be wrong. Not an easy task, because original recording dates and dates of overdubs and lead vocals may differ considerably in many cases. But whatever, this collection will give us food for

Here are my guesses for the dates of each recording: VOLUME 1 Nobody’s Perfect (MJ Solo Session 1984/87) Trouble’s A Coming (Emotional Rescue Sessions 1979) Dreams To Remember (Undercover Sessions 1982) Don’t Lie To Me (Possibly a rehearsal from 1994? The line "Monkey Man" being thrown in makes me think it's from the Voodoo Lounge Tour Rehearsals) Fiji Jim (Some Girls Ses

I'm having so much fun listening to these newly discovered tracks. It's like trying to fit pieces to a puzzle with figuring out when these songs were recorded. This might be the most diverse Stones outtakes bootleg ever put out. It's so expansive!!

Can't wait for the posting of this on here!! A few titles I've seen on Nico's "The Complete Works" for a long time now like Curtis Meets Smokey but his site has it being from 1969. This is the next big outtakes release of rare material!!

I remember a while ago someone had posted a compilation they made with all of the unreleased material from the film such as the snippets of Moonlight Mile, Good Time Women, Salt Of The Earth, Loving Cup, Ventilator Blues, etc. I had downloaded it but seem to have misplaced the files. If anyone remembers this and can repost here, it'd be much appreciated!!

By 1975-76, the Stones were becoming aging rock stars. The critics were calling their music irrelevant. The mid-70's albums didn't truly bring anything spectacular to the table and their performances were rather lazy, sloppy and uninspired. They had to prove themselves to the music world they could still be one of the greatest bands out there and that's exactly what SOME GIRLS acco

QuoteRisingStone And I can say without hesitation — ultimately, Mick’s choice of picking more Stones than solo songs ended up as a pleasant surprise for many of us who were there to witness the show, it worked, artistic integrity notwithstanding. We have to also look at it from the point of view of the Japanese people. None of them had ever seen Stones songs performed live before. Having Mick p

QuoteTheflyingDutchman QuoteJordyLicks96 We also have the unused guitar solo on JJF. Interesting. Sounds like Keith to me. Does this imply that he overdubbed his rhythm guitar on JJF? I think the only thing overdubbed on JJF were the vocals.
