The only way they might do RAH or any other small(ish) gig is if they are looking at a "Shine A Light" repeat, that is, a film and DVD/CD release to celebrate 60 years. Not saying they won't do it but I can't see them just playing a small room

Quoteexhpart Hi guys Doesn't seem to be LD tickets at all at HP. Am I right? I see a link for Anfield going live at 10 in the UK Just answering my own question ... I guess this is due to HP being the BST Festival? So technically the Stones are the headliners for the day

Looks like June 25th and July 3rd are the spaces available in the BST Hyde Park line up. If it made sense in 2013 to do 2 gigs presumably the same applies today. 130,000 available tickets. Gold Circle for them that want it and GA for us mere mortals at around 100 quid. That'll do nicely

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteProfessorWolf maybe but i think they'll continue doing a handful of stadium shows a year for at least a couple more years just hope they don't do one of those "farewell tours" and just keep performing until they can't or don't want to anymore just one day they do and the next they don't Seems like they've always been c

Quotedoitywoik Quotekkhoranstoned oh i hope for double cd with new songs.. 26 magical songs I hope they've got at least 6 magical songs done so far ... 26 new songs would of course be great but I'm afraid this would push the release date back to 2037 or so ... No need. I would prefer 8 to 10 great tracks and let's say minimum 30 minutes. Leave out the filler. I remember Ooh

I loved the opening to the movie Blow with Johnny Depp. A moment of silence as a plane is landing in the jungle and then that searing riff kicks in to begin Can't You Hear Me Knocking. Gets my vote for best Stones moment in a film or television programme

I think they should release anything they're happy with - that Charlie plays on - and dedicate the album to Charlie. Nearly 500 pages here!

Clapton has turned a bit idiotic in his old age. The Stones have always been very relaxed about bootlegs and I think most people who are fans would have at least a few. Only people to benefit from this will be the lawyers and certainly if she hasn't got the money ...well Clapton won't see a penny

Arlo Parks (and her band) I think 2019 but she's only 20 now. Also Arcade Fire as previous poster has mentioned.

Lot of negativity about big outdoor shows here My day at Hyde Park 1st concert (July 2013?) hard to see how it could have been better. And I recall £95 which was not too bad for all day entertainment Kinda agree on the multi day format though - and we were blessed with great weather which especially here in the UK is always a big unknown

Must say it's very strange not to even know who Kenny Jones is. And have all these opinions on Steve Jordan and drumming. Just sayin'...

Quote24FPS QuoteLady Jayne Doxa, I too have never heard Charlie's drumming in every Stones number as I hear now. I did the same thing with Bill. I thought they'd replace him with somebody on his level, like they did by hiring Mick Taylor. I've always known Charlie is great, but it isn't until he's gone that I now focus on his playing. And another +1 from me. I find my

Totally agree. Went to see Vintage Trouble and the singer (Ty Taylor is it?) asked everyone to put their phones away and just be together in the moment and enjoy ourselves. Fantastic.

I think they'll play these dates and - health allowing - play in 2022 to celebrate 60 years. And I think Charlie would want them to play. Maybe call it a day after that. I just don't think Charlie would even want them to quit because of his death. I'd also guess this was all discussed and resolved before they even announced Steve Jordan stepping in as a substitute! My experienc

Quoteretired_dog QuoteHairball Just an opinion based on everything else he and the Stones have ever released - has Mick or the Stones ever given any recorded music away for free? Can't think of anything, but maybe there was something for a charity? Free Concert Hyde Park 1969 Gimme Shelter (live 26.11.89, Death Valley Stadium, Clemson) 1993 Food Charity-cassette release Fancy Man B

Thought I’d chip in with my experience: My wife and I had first jab (Oxford AZ) on Sat March 6th we are same age apart from a couple of months, I had absolutely no side effects other than a sore arm. My wife not so good and had Sun and Mon off but back to work on the 9th. We obviously now have some protection and second jab scheduled for May 22nd. This is London UK

Anyone here seen it? Pretty rubbish I thought - though the Stones/Stevie Wonder performance of Uptight seguing into Satisfaction was pretty great. Otherwise a study of how tedious touring can be between the high of the actual concert and then some pathetic drug use which I’m pretty sure they’d like to forget

+ The relatively young population - more than 60% are under the age of 25 + Experience in epidemic control from tackling other diseases + Cross-immunity from other coronaviruses + Low rates of travel and more outdoor living might also help I’d say this is spot on bv and thank goodness Africa has these points in favour

QuotePaulhanrahan It's being reported here in Oz this morning that a "number" of elderly people have died in Norway after having received the vaccine. Surely statistically this was always going to happen? Very elderly people have a habit of dying, vaccine or no vaccine

Yes Wonderboy I have been listening to this too, really interesting stuff. Make No Mistake by Keith was also used in The Sopranos in fact I always liked the music they chose for this series. Was hoping to attend when they (Michael and Steve) were coming to London but Covid put paid to that.

Quoteretired_dog QuoteTaylor1 I think the Killers mix is great, although Keith probably won't like it because of the synthesizers and electronic sounds. Was Keith involved in these mixes? I think some people here would be surprised to learn what Keith actually likes or dislikes! Lol ...I remember being a bit shocked that he threw Van Morrison albums in the pool at Nellcote

I too thought the vocals on Scarlet were new - that was my instinct - but if Mick says the only new vocals are at the end then I'll take his word for it. And Criss Cross Man is "untouched" he says. I can't see why he bothered with a remix of Scarlet from War On Drugs. I couldn't get to the end of it! Am I missing something?

Not sure how all you guys can think keith did a harmony vocal without a lead vocal back then? Obviously they worked on it again with Mick there. And pry Stu. Anyways in this new interview Mick specifica
