Yes indeed the Lick This for $10 was fun to watch. 1 person had to lick an Exile album fast enough to get it to play a bit...next was someone putting on a Stones logo mask with a hole to stick his tongue out, and lick a red color substance onto a large Exile album cover with the word Exile left uncolored, thus completing it. And lastly a man and woman licked a large fuzzy dice ( one for e

My recorder didn't record the first showing, so I checked on here and was surprised to see nothing posted yet...Lucky for me, I get the East coast and West coast feeds so I'm now watching it on the West coast feed. Kicked off with Green Day doing rip this joint. Honestly I liked it. Of course it's not as good as the Stones, but it was good to see it played and played well. Als

They should, but then again who knows? I would like to hear She Saw Me Coming and although I haven't heard all of the new songs coming out with Exile, I'm sure I'd love to hear some of those as well! Under The Radar would be nice to hear as well, as long as I'm dreaming.

A friend picked mine up for me as there are no record stores near where I live. They took their time mailing it and I just got it today. Number 4795!!! I must say this is a very nice package. I am used to paper sleeves from old 45's I have from the past. This is made of thick feeling cardboard and very sturdy. And of course the vinyl itself is lovely!

Tod I'm wondering if I just have a cd set from a different label or something with maybe an inferior sound? I'd have to dig through my cd's to find the info on mine. It wasn't bad, it just didn't seem like a good fm recording to me.

Kait, no that wasn't the one I was thinking of. I'll have to dig out the old cd and find who did the one I was thinking of.

Sounds just like a typical Jagger "vowel movement" as they called it. Where he isn't singing so much as voicing the sounds/tones for the song as they build it into the final product. Sounds early 70's to me.

Yes, I believe that is why I really wanted the SD due to LQ being played, as it was at the show I attended in Orlando.

maybe the thing about San Diego was the wind? I seem to recall there being a storm at the time and didn't Mick also mention being about to blow away on stage? I just remember ordering that cd, and being excited at the sound board and songs on the b stage and then being a little disappointed in the sound. Not the worst at all but not what I expected for a radio show

I never like the San Diego as much...although a sound board it didn't seem that good of one to me...I would say St. Louis sounded best although there were some other good performances. Seemed like the Argentina one was good also but I can't remember it as well.

I have a few cd's of other's doing Stones songs...some quite enjoyable. Ike and Tina Turner doing Under My Thumb comes to mind. Another guy (can't remember who at the moment) doing a slower version of Dead Flowers I also likes as well.

Was hoping to get this today, but sadly looks like I can't. Congratulations to our UK brethren. I still don't see why a free download can't be had by all!

Does anyone know how to get these songs off the dvd so I can put them on my Zune player? It drives me crazy to only be able to hear these 2 songs on a dvd player or computer.....especially Under The Radar, would love to rock out to it on a good player

I agree and don't feel Time Waits is the best either. Never cared for it much myself actually. However I am now in the mood to dig out some 73 shows to listen to!! Magic.

I always did love his drumming on these. Glad you mentioned the ER tracks as well. I never really noticed it as much on there as the atmosphere of the album was so different. But you are right. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

I actually ordered the Japanes No Security and that is a very good, bluesy, churning version of Make to Love To You!!! As for the others I missed the Angie from BTB but got the Black Limo on the Like A Rolling Stone single which also had another song ...All Down The Line I think it was....

I think Little Baby was on all Stripped versions, right? Maybe a different song? Oh and thanks for reminding me about If Things Could Be Different....I really loved that Jagger track. Meant alot to me at the time. Sadly I lost it when my old computer went out..........wish I could get that one again!
