QuoteTumblinDice76 Snoopy-I'm just guessing, I have no idea. I think the unplugged set in '19 was to slow Jagger down a bit post heart surgery to keep him from dancing to much. The small stage "grounded" him for 2 songs. We'll never know but perhaps if the 2020 tour went as planned we may have gotten 2 GHS songs each night circa SF in 2015. Now with TY coming out by mid t

QuoteTumblinDice76 I'd bet no unplugged set. May go the route of a couple TY songs instead. Ah, man, I hadn't even considered no acoustic set, in fact it was what I was most looking fwd to.. The power of mind persuasion

Love the brief video clip they just put up on social media, as well as seeing Mick at the arch.. Sad as Charlie's passing is and the hole that is there from such an influence on my youth (& he died on my birthday, which I guess means I'll certainly never forget the day), I am looking forward to seeing & hearing them again.. Can't help it!

Quotepeoplewitheyes Quotedcba From the stevehoffman forum : "Hilarious satellite feed featuring Mick Jagger (circa 1981) addressing EMI employees worldwide for a quasi Tattoo You sales ‘pep rally’ for the new album. Notice the “artwork” on either side of his chair" That is hilarious! Thank you for posting! Before he was knighted obviously..

19th Nervous Breakdown would be fun.. Someone mentioned no B stage songs on the list, I think Memory Motel would certainly work there

QuoteBFR Quotesnoopy2 I still feel the same about my earlier St. Louis post (I took it down cuz the same point has been made over and over) ... QuoteSockers56 Quotekovach QuoteSockers56 I booked Days Inn by Wyndham Downtown St. Louis, St. Louis. It was at a good price. What is everybody's opinion of the hotel & the proximity to the Dome. First time in St Louis. Going with my buddy. Not a good area. Avoid anything north of the dome. I hate to sound so negative about St. Louis, I've spent my entire life here and love wha

Then Mick made 40 demos and Keef some "dynamite riffs". Then they "hit the wall". Then they wanted only great stuff...but 'Living in a Ghost Town' it's onl

Ran into Charlie at Hittsville in Detroit as he was finishing a tour of the studio and I was about to begin one. He saw that I recognized him and stood patiently, most likely expecting me to begin chatting with him, but he was there for a tour himself so I said nothing and walked off.. Wow. Can't believe he's gone now

State Farm stadium, Glendale AZ - landed in the Pit w/Lucky Dips with my good friend Mike aka "Snap", and bumped in to quite a few friends I've known over the years through this site and shidoobee... Quotedownagain I've read a number of comments from people feeling a bit silly that they are so upset regarding the passing of someone they never met. Aside from saying that there's nothing wrong with feeling what you're feeling, I'll leave a quote I read when Bowie passed. "We mourn our musical heroes not because we knew them but because they helped us know ourselves.

QuoteRocky Dijon I do not doubt for a second that the band is broken up by this personally. They understood the seriousness of Charlie's procedure and the risk afterwards as anyone would. The announcement of the tour, then the PR announcement about Charlie pulling out were not timed to make sure ticket sales were not impacted as some have cynically suggested. The timing was to give Charlie,
